Job Description
Starkflow is seeking a Senior Oracle Apps DBA for a 6+ month contract role in Qatar. The ideal candidate will possess 18+ years of experience and expertise in Oracle DBA & Apps DBA, with strong experience across OCI, DRCC, and engineered systems (Exadata, Exalogic, ZDLRA, PCA). Proficiency in Oracle EBS (12.2+), WebLogic, Fusion Middleware, backup & recovery (RMAN, OSB), Data Guard, RAC, ASM, and security, auditing, patching, cloning, DR drills, and performance tuning is essential. Experience managing Oracle Cloud and on-prem environments with high availability and DR solutions is required. Hands-on experience with OEM 13c, APEX, ECC, storage, capacity planning, and monitoring tools, as well as scripting (Shell/Python) and ITSM tools is expected. The role includes providing architecture-level recommendations. Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) and OCI/EBS certifications are preferred, and ITIL Foundation or higher is a plus. Excellent troubleshooting, communication, multitasking, and compliance skills are necessary.
Must have:

Key Skills & Experience:

- Strong in security, auditing, patching (DB PSU, RUP, security fixes), cloning, DR drills, and performance tuning.
- Skilled in managing Oracle Cloud and on-prem environments with high availability and DR solutions.
- Hands-on with OEM 13c, APEX, ECC, storage, capacity planning, and monitoring tools.
- Experience with scripting (Shell/Python), ITSM tools, and providing architecture-level recommendations.
Certifications:
- Oracle Certified Professional (OCP)
- OCI/EBS certifications preferred
- ITIL Foundation or higher is a plus
Soft Skills:
