Job Description
N-iX is looking for an experienced PHP (Laravel) engineer to join their customer development team, focused on creating a modern taxi solution. The engineer will contribute to the development of an advanced taxi dispatch system used by taxi firms in the UK, USA, and Ireland. This involves developing and maintaining web-based PHP applications, writing well-designed code, contributing to all phases of the development lifecycle, and adhering to industry best practices. The role also includes developing projects from scratch.
Must have:
- 5+ years of PHP software development experience
- Experience with Laravel and Kohana
- Experience with automated testing
- Experience with JavaScript
- MySQL / Relational Database experience
- REST API & JSON management of our API
- AWS services experience
- Upper-Intermediate level of English
- Ukrainian language Advanced or higher

Together with our Engineers, you will contribute to development of one of the the most advanced taxi dispatch systems which offers taxi firms from UK, USA, and Ireland the ability to more easily run, manage, and grow their business.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, record, and maintain cutting-edge web-based PHP applications;
- Write well-designed code;
- Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle;
- Follow industry best practices;
- Develop projects from scratch.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in software development with PHP
- Laravel, Kohana
- Experience with automated testing
- Experience with JavaScript
- MySQL / Relational Database experience
- REST API & JSON to manage our API
- AWS services
- Upper-Intermediate level of English
- Ukrainian language Advanced or higher
