Job Description

The Senior Planner is responsible for creating and implementing plans to ensure a seamless transition from product development to full-scale production. This role requires collaboration with various teams, including engineering, demand planning, manufacturing, and quality, to align materials, schedules, and resources throughout the production cycle. The planner will develop and manage project plans for new product introductions, coordinate production plans, collaborate with engineering, identify supply chain risks, ensure component availability, monitor milestones, maintain records in ERP systems, and support change management processes. This role involves interacting with internal and some external contacts.
Must have:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in supply chain planning or NPI.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word & Power Point.
  • Strong knowledge of ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP).

What we’re looking for:

Responsible for developing and executing plans that ensure a smooth transition from product development to full-scale production. This role collaborates cross-functionally with engineering, demand planning, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure materials, schedules, and resources are aligned to the complete production cycle.

Skills you’ll need:

  • Develop and manage end-to-end project plans for new product introductions.

  • Coordinate production plan to support prototype, pilot, and initial production builds.

  • Collaborate with engineering teams to understand product requirements and timelines.

  • Identify potential supply chain risks and develop mitigation strategies.

  • Ensure timely availability of components for new product builds.

  • Monitor progress of NPI milestones and escalate issues to stakeholders.

  • Maintain accurate records of part numbers, BOMs (Bill of Materials), and planning parameters in ERP systems.

  • Support change management processes for product revisions and updates.

  • Interact with internal and some external contacts.

  • Other duties as required.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Minimum bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field

  • 5+ years of experience in supply chain planning, production planning, or NPI

  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word & Power Point

  • Strong knowledge of ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP)
