As a Senior Producer at Annapurna Interactive, you will be a publishing and production partner to developers, ensuring the highest quality games. You'll manage project schedules, submission planning, and overall development plans, while championing game quality. This role involves assessing milestones, managing partnerships, and identifying risks. You will also foster a positive team culture and guide the titles through the full game lifecycle, from concept to release. This role will require you to have the ability to manage producers, associate producers and production coordinators to become highly effective production team members.

As a Senior Producer at Annapurna Interactive, you will drive impact for players by being an excellent publishing and production partner to the developers whom we support so that they can create the highest quality games.You will report to the VP, Head of Production and own the schedule predictability and quality outcome for the titles that you oversee. You will guide each title in your care through the full game lifecycle, from concept through each aspect of publishing and release readiness required to deliver the game to players.

Responsibilities

• You are the first stop point of contact for the developers teams whom you support, working with them to create project and milestone schedules, submission planning, and overall development plans.

• You are a champion for Game Quality; you create the circumstances for the highest game quality through supporting developers' needs, soliciting feedback, and having a true player perspective.

• You have a strong understanding of portfolio objectives and the ability to align project efforts with strategic goals.

• You will expertly assess milestones, reviewing and evaluating game builds across creative, development, and production progress to ensure predictability toward release.

• You will build and manage excellent partnerships across the whole of the Annapurna Interactive team, creating visibility and providing transparency on the state of the titles in development.

• You have a keen eye and are skilled at risk assessment, catching risks early, communicating them openly, and crafting mitigation plans to reduce or eliminate risk on your titles.

• You are a paragon of Team Culture; you help to create and maintain a healthy team culture that is communicative, transparent, motivated, committed, and focused on the right things.

• You have a proven ability to manage producers, associate producers and production coordinators to become highly effective production team members.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in Video Game Production, preferably in both Publishing and Development

• Comprehensive knowledge of game development workflows, encompassing design, programming, art, and audio

• Skilled at overseeing multiple projects at once while effectively prioritizing tasks

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of articulating complex concepts clearly

• Comfortable presenting to and engaging with stakeholders across all levels of an organization

• Sharp analytical abilities to evaluate project status and identify areas for optimization

• Innovative problem-solving skills to navigate development challenges and roadblocks

• Demonstrated leadership in inspiring and directing teams toward successful project completion

• Experienced in cultivating a collaborative and high-performing team culture

• Consistently exercises sound judgment in recommendations and decision-making

• Adept at fostering strong cross-functional collaborations and seamless workflows

• Familiarity with quality assurance methodologies and ensuring top-tier production standards

• Experienced in managing testing phases and integrating feedback to enhance game features

• In-depth awareness of industry trends, player behavior, and competitive market dynamics

• Strong cultural awareness with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and audiences

• Deep passion for gaming with a broad understanding of various genres and platforms

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with multiplayer platforms including console, PC and mobile.

Experience working with game engines such as Unity, Unreal, or proprietary engines.

Experience working globally with a variety of different developers and service providers.
