Job Description

As a Senior Producer, you will work closely with the Audio and Narrative teams, facilitating communication and supporting development efforts. You will be responsible for curating and maintaining game documentation, identifying and proposing solutions to problems, gathering estimates, and evaluating feature complexity and risk. Furthermore, you will maintain close communication with department leads, balance day-to-day maintenance with long-term planning, and establish production estimates. You will need to understand your team's pace, velocity, progress, and ownership, along with knowing what a critical change can do to the schedule and work with the team to determine what is best for the game. The ideal candidate has a strong passion for making games.
Must have:
  • 5+ years experience in the games industry
  • Experience with scheduling tools and coordinating project schedule
  • Experience with managing Audio or Narrative teams
  • Understanding of game schedules, pipelines, and dependencies
  • Experience in risk analysis and mitigation
  • Experience with multiple project management methodologies
  • Excellent project management and communication skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively and stay calm under pressure
  • Capable of prioritization; able to manage several important items

  • Strong passion for playing games
  • Flexibility to take on additional responsibilities
  • Quick learner, able to pick up new tools and technologies
  • Familiarity with dialogue and cinematics pipelines

We are seeking a Senior Producer to work on our next AAA title.  You will work closely with our Audio and Narrative teams. Help facilitate communication, support development efforts and help resolve roadblocks not only when they come to your attention, but before they become a reality.  Come make great games with us and become a part of our Production team!

Responsibilities

  • Work with the Audio and Narrative departments on a daily basis
  • Curate and maintain game documentation
  • Take initiative to identify problems, establish facts, and propose solutions
  • Gather estimates and work with developers to evaluate feature complexity and risk
  • Maintain close communication with department leads
  • Balance day to day maintenance with long-term planning; need to recognize that production is not all about fighting fires
  • Establish and communicate production estimates, including estimates for when targets will be hit
  • Get to know your team: pace, velocity, progress, ownership.  Know what a critical change can do to the schedule and work with the team to determine what is best for the game

Requirements

  • 5+ years experience in the games industry
  • Experience with scheduling tools (eg. Jira) and coordinating a project schedule
  • Experience with managing Audio or Narrative teams
  • Possess a general understanding of schedules, pipelines, and dependencies involved with developing games
  • Experience in risk analysis and mitigation
  • Experience with multiple project management methodologies
  • Excellent project management, critical thinking, verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all individuals; stay calm and focused under pressure
  • Capable of prioritization; able to manage several important items at once, and escalate challenges when needed, without allowing anything to be lost in the process

The estimated base pay range for this role is: $115,000 - $155,000 USD
