Job Description

As a Senior Product Analyst, you will be actively involved in product development, from research and analysis to documentation. You will collaborate with media teams, gather requirements for product planning, and refine use cases of existing products. You will ensure actionable insights are delivered by utilizing data and work with different teams. You will also help scope, build, and test data-driven Ad-Tech solutions, contributing to MiQ’s Revenue and Gross Profit. You will discover patterns in datasets to help make informed decisions.
Must have:
  • Experience in formulating business problems into scalable products

Role: Senior Product Analyst

Location: Bengaluru 

What you’ll do

As a Sr. Product Analyst in our DnA Capabilities department, you’ll have the chance to:  

  • Be actively involved in and take ownership of critical aspects of product development, from guiding the team through the research, analysis, and documentation phases
  • Collaborate with media teams to activate media campaigns based on analytical outputs
  • Assist in gathering requirements and insights for product planning from stakeholders, actively contributing to brainstorming and negotiating to align with product needs
  • Gain an in-depth understanding of media products and ad-tech domain to refine use cases of existing products
  • Ensure actionable insights are delivered by utilising all our rich data in conjunction with client-specific data
  • Work closely with and lead conversations requiring other Center of Excellence (CoE) teams

Who are your stakeholders? 

The Sr. Product Analyst’s internal customers/stakeholders include:

  • Product Managers/Consultants/ Traders / Data Scientists/ Analysts: The Sr. Product Analyst builds solutions that are used primarily by these internal customers through MiQ proprietary platforms like Lab and Hub. The Product Analyst sometimes collaborates with these customers, along with the market requirements and solution feedback through the Product Management team
  • Product Management: The Sr. Product Analyst works closely with the Product team to help define frameworks for business impact monitoring, driving adoption, and helping define the next steps for feature development.

What you’ll bring  

  • 2-4 years of experience in formulating business problems into scalable & insightful products through descriptive and inquisitive analytics techniques, capable of extracting meaningful insights from data to inform decision-making
  • Experienced with big data tools like Databricks, Spark, and AWS, with expertise in designing and managing scalable data pipelines, and optimizing workflows for efficiency and reliability in large-scale environments
  • A high level of proficiency in Python for data analysis, including advanced libraries and frameworks, and a foundational understanding of data science methodologies and architectures to contribute effectively to brainstorming new ideas
  • Skilled in designing and implementing robust API integrations, with expertise in API management and security best practices, including gateways and authentication mechanisms
  • Experienced in crafting compelling narratives and visualizations to effectively communicate complex data insights to diverse stakeholders, including non-technical audiences
  • Demonstrated a high degree of organization and ability to manage multiple, competing priorities
  • Proficient in statistical modelling and advanced analytics, uncovering data patterns, trends, and correlations to inform strategic decision-making and shape business strategy and product development.
  • Comfortable working in an Agile framework along with mentoring and leading junior analysts, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented team environment
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, fostering relationships across various departments.
  • Willingness to try new technologies and languages and ability to grasp and learn quickly.
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in any engineering discipline / MBA

What impact will you create? 

  • The Sr. Product Analyst helps scope, build, and test data-driven Ad-Tech solutions that position MiQ as the leading programmatic partner for advertisers across the lifecycle of a marketing campaign, which consequently contributes to MiQ’s Revenue and Gross Profit.
  • The Sr. Product Analyst works closely with data scientists to build generalised Product features that enable key internal stakeholders to discover the right audience insights, set up and optimise digital advertising campaigns, and measure the success of these campaigns.
  • The Sr. Product Analyst focuses on feature testing, adoption, monitoring business impact, and gathering feedback on the solutions to make sure quality products and features are released to stakeholders.
  • The Sr. Product Analyst brings in acute analytical skills to discover patterns and anomalies in the datasets and help make informed decisions when it comes to development and data partnerships
  • The Sr. Product Analyst would actively contribute to building the MiQ Brand of Data Science & Products by bringing innovation and research to focus internally and externally, through submitting white papers, representing MiQ and presenting at conferences, participating in hackathons etc.
