Job Description

As a Senior Product Manager in Azure AI Foundry's Fundamentals team, you will focus on billing to support large-scale enterprise customers. This involves analyzing customer feedback, market trends, and driving platform development to meet evolving business needs. You'll ensure accurate billing, address customer inquiries, and shape the business model. Collaboration with engineering, data science, and stakeholders is crucial to deliver innovative solutions. You'll define and execute the product roadmap, influence organizational priorities, and communicate effectively to drive success. Responsibilities include working with feature teams on new launches, addressing billing inquiries, identifying customer needs, developing feature specifications, influencing leadership, and collaborating on business model evolution.

Overview

As a Senior Product Manager you will be working in the Fundamentals team for Azure AI Foundry, working on billing to ensure that we can support our most sophisticated and large-scale enterprise customers. By actively engaging with customers and analyzing customer feedback and market trends, you'll drive the development of our platform to support our evolving business model to meet market demands.

 

You will ensure accurate billing and address customer inquiries about usage and charges. You will help shape the business model and ensure that our tools and features enable developers to effectively utilize AI in their projects. You’ll work closely with engineering, Data Science, and various stakeholders to deliver innovative solutions that support this goal.

 

In this high-visibility role, you'll collaborate with Azure AI leadership and cross-functional teams to define and execute the product roadmap. Your expertise will help influence and align complex organizational priorities, ensuring that our products deliver a significant business impact. Through effective communication and strategic guidance, you’ll drive the success of our initiatives and contribute to the overall mission of making AI accessible and empowering for every developer.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree AND 5+ years experience in product/service/project/program management or software development

               o OR equivalent experience.

 

Additional or Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 7+ years experience in product/service/project/program management or software development

              o OR equivalent experience.

 

  • Ability to work and build strong relationships with senior managers, leaders, partners and customers
  • The aptitude to engage a wide range of internal and external stakeholders; from end users to senior management/executives
  • Display skills in planning and project management
  • Demonstrated ability in discerning and addressing relevant challenges to delivery
  • Must be able to work independently, handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, and negotiate and collaborate effectively
  • Highly analytical - ability to understand business metrics, customer and market trends
  • Ability to demonstrate understanding of computer science fundamentals that affect code implementation and customer experience
  • Great communication, inter-personal, and cross group collaboration skills; the ability to build and deliver effective presentations

Product Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $117,200 - $229,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $153,600 - $250,200 per year.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Product Manager on our team, you will significantly impact our products and customers. You’ll join a team of Product and Technical Program Managers, collaborate with engineering and Data Science teams, and work with various Azure stakeholders. You’ll design, deliver, and iterate on new tools, applications, and features, with high visibility and support from Azure leadership.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Work with feature teams on all new launches to ensure billing is supported at launch.
  • Work with engineering, commerce and support teams on billing enquiries and credit projects.
  • Identifying customer needs and market opportunities through data analysis and feedback.
  • Developing feature specifications and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Influencing leadership and aligning complex organizational structures.
  • Defining success metrics and partnering with engineering teams on feature design.
  • Collaborate with Business Planning and product leadership on business model evolution.
