We’re currently looking for: Senior Product Manager, Video/ Events


This position assumes close work with development teams, RnD department. A successful candidate will be required to collect and work out the requirements for projects within the existing product line, managing the development teams from the product side, and track implementation accordingly. Participate in development activity with regards to RingCentral’s Voice & Video collaboration portfolio. These include highly collaborative many to many meetings as well as one to many events such as virtual events, webinars, breakouts, and more.


Responsibilities:

As a Senior Product Manager in a Scrum-based software development process, you will be responsible for:


  • Identify, work through, and prioritize requirements for new product features.
  • Wrap up requirements in User Stories and technical tasks organized in a ranked list (product backlog).
  • Work with UX team for delightful customer experience improvements for discoverability and ease of use
  • Creating Acceptance Criteria and validating the result on Sprint demos.
  • Managing the sprint's scope.
  • Managing the upcoming release’s scopes.
  • Promptly resolving all the issues related to the clarification and adaptation of requirements.
  • Continuously and proactively interact with internal and external stakeholders as well as with different development teams when working with requirements and dependencies.
  • Coach junior staffs when necessary


Requirements:


  • 7+ years of working experience as a Product Manager or Product Owner role. Should have worked in some projects related to the development of customer facing applications including web, mobile, and desktop.
  • Experience in working with a scrum team distributed across multiple geographies
  • Decent experience in Video.
  • Excellent analytical & communication skills.
  • Ability to quickly find and assimilate new information.
  • Excellent presentation skills, and ability to effectively convey information verbally and graphically.
  • Upper-intermediate spoken and written English (we have constant communication with teams and stakeholders all over the World).
  • Excellent understanding of software development processes for client & server-based services.
  • An understanding of the principles of real-time communications particularly voice & video is required.
  • Candidates should have experience with designing customer-facing UX for consumer & business users.
  • Bonus for candidates with experience designing services for mobile, desktop and web experiences
