ROLE SUMMARY:
We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Senior Program Manager to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives with a strong focus on investment planning, business case development, and change management within the Sales and Account Management Division.
This role demands a blend of program leadership, financial acumen, and a deep understanding of sales processes and methodologies in a data financial services organization.
This role will require engagement with senior leadership, cross-functional and key stakeholders globally, across multiple areas to ensure the strategic objectives are achieved.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Lead a portfolio of programs, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities and measurable business outcomes.
· Responsible for bringing alignment and identify interdependencies across Group.
· Responsible for Clarity updates and making sure all milestones and KPI’s are up to date against set timeframes and budgets.
· Manage and engage with 30+ stakeholders, including senior business sponsors and cross-functional leaders.
· Drive full-cycle investment planning, including CAPEX and OPEX budgeting, spend tracking in Clarity PM tools, prioritization, and financial and Portfolio Board reporting.
· Maintain strict oversight of budgets, spending controls, and resource allocations, ensuring adherence to financial governance.
· Develop, refine, and lead business cases from initiation through POC to implementation, ensuring financial viability and alignment with strategic goals.
· Lead change management initiatives within the sales organization, driving adoption and minimizing disruptions.
· Understand core sales organization functions such as Account Management, Customer Success Management, and Specialist Sales.
· Collaborate with Finance, Sales, and Operations to ensure accurate financial forecasting, benefit tracking and reporting.
· Represent SAM in the Voice of The Customer programme design and execution.
· Prepare and deliver strategic updates to C-Level executives.
· Lead and mentor teams; manage performance directly or in a matrixed environment.
Key Relationships:
· SAM Senior Leadership, Customer Operations, Engineering Team, Architecture Team, Finance Business Partners, Transformation Office, PM Business owners and key stakeholders.
Required Qualification:
· 5+ years of program management experience in a complex, matrixed, and fast-paced organization.
· Proven experience leading portfolio of programs with 30+ stakeholders, including business sponsors and executives.
· PMP certification required; Agile/SAFe certification is an advantage.
· Strong financial background with demonstrated ability to manage budgets, cost controls, and financial risk.
· In-depth experience in CAPEX/OPEX investment planning, spend oversight, and cost-benefit analysis.
· Proven success in building and managing business cases with measurable outcomes.
· Experience driving change management within sales organizations.
· Solid understanding of sales operations, methodologies, roles, and customer-centric strategies.
· Knowledge of data financial services products and solutions.
· Experience leading direct or matrixed teams and influencing at all levels.
· Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with comfort in executive and board-level presentations.
· Proficiency in project and financial tools such as Clarity, Asana, Excel, Power Point, Power BI, and Smartsheet.
· Experience in a regulated industry or large-scale digital transformation environment.
· Familiarity with enterprise architecture, go-to-market strategy, or IT investment governance.
Education / Certificates:
· MBA/Masters required
· Professional certification such as PMP from the Project Management Institute - required
