Job Description

The Senior Program Manager will be responsible for collaborating with educational partners to manage the developmental, documentation, and financial aspects of accredited education activities. The role includes overseeing the accreditation process, managing partner contracts, ensuring compliance with internal policies, maintaining records, coordinating with internal teams, and serving as a strategic resource. The goal is to improve patient care practices through impactful educational experiences.
Must have:
  • Oversee the accreditation process for healthcare programs.
  • Manage partner contracts and monitor finances.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures.
  • Maintain records and reports on accredited activities.
  • Coordinate with internal teams for educational programming.
  • Maintain existing accounts and provide support.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Knowledge of ACCME, ACPE, or ANCC guidelines and FDA regulations.
  • Experience in medical education project management.
  • Team oriented.
  • Ability to administer multiple tasks concurrently.
Good to have:
  • Possess a background in the healthcare field.
  • CHCP credential preferred.

The Postgraduate Institute for Medicine (PIM) has been providing trusted independent continuing education for healthcare professionals since 1979 and is a recognized leader for jointly provided continuing education activities. PIM is nationally accredited to certify education and issue continuing education credit to an interdisciplinary audience of learners, including physicians, physician assistants, registered nurses, nurse practitioners, pharmacists, psychologists, dentists, social workers, and clinical laboratory professionals. We specialize in joint providership, outcomes measurement, and grant solicitation/funding support. PIM also offers an online eLearning platform. 
The purpose of the PIM continuing healthcare education program is to deliver effective CME/CE activities that are designed to contribute to the professional development of physicians, as well as other members of the healthcare team, support their lifelong learning process, and positively impact the delivery of healthcare.

General Description:
The primary responsibility of this role is to collaborate with educational partners to manage the developmental, documentation, and financial aspects of accredited education activities 
Job Responsibilities: 
  • Oversee the accreditation process continuing healthcare education programs Cultivate collaborative relationships to facilitate the implementation of successful strategic partnerships 
  • Manage partner contracts and monitor associated finances 
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures for adherence to the defined standards of governing regulatory bodies 
  • Maintain records/data and facilitate reports on accredited activities in accordance with established practices 
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure successful educational programming including grants, outcomes, and marketing 
  • Serve as strategic resource to help partners grow their organizations and maximize the impact of their educational programming 
  • Maintain existing accounts, provide high quality, timely, complete, and accurate support
 
Qualifications: 
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience 
  • Strong working knowledge of current ACCME, ACPE, or ANCC guidelines and
  • FDA regulations 
  • Possess a background in the healthcare field preferred 
  • CHCP credential preferred 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs 
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience maintaining responsibility for all aspects of medical education project management, including client services and interacting with funding agencies and professional groups 
  • Team oriented 
  • Experience writing, managing contracts as well as monitoring financial aspects of the contract 
  • Capable of administering multiple tasks concurrently and staying on top of project deadlines and deliverables 
  • Exceptionally strong organizational skills 
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills 
  • Able to work with tight deadlines and multi-task many projects at different stages of development through completion in an organized manner 
  • Be experienced with: 
o Goal-oriented project management 
o Developing and maintaining client relationships 
o Interacting with funding agencies and professional groups 
Travel 
  • Some travel required
Compensation:
$75,000 - $80,000 + full benefits included
