As a Senior Program Manager - Strategic Data Solutions at Apple, you will be responsible for conceptualizing, building, and delivering analytic solutions. You will collaborate with a team of machine learning engineers, software engineers, analysts, and project managers. Key responsibilities include developing partnerships with stakeholders, identifying new business opportunities, translating business needs into technical requirements, managing analytics projects, and communicating business-critical metrics. The role involves diving deep into analytical projects, leading project management activities, and driving projects from inception to release. The ideal candidate will also identify process improvement opportunities.

Job Details
PMs conceptualize, build, and deliver analytic solutions that enable Apple to provide exceptional products and services to its customers with greater speed, control, efficiency, and scale. They use analytics and machine learning to nurture new innovations, to support new product offerings, and to\nbalance design / operational tradeoffs. Partnering with a variety of product, engineering, and operations teams, they must demonstrate business acumen, communicate clearly with business leaders, and bring structure and clarity to uncertain situations with competing priorities. Most importantly, the best PMs are amazing teammates, effective and considerate leaders, and champions of an empowering and inclusive team culture.\n\nThe PM role includes:\n\n• Working collaboratively with our team of machine learning engineers, software engineers, analysts, and project managers.\n\n• Developing partnerships with key stakeholders across a variety of Apple teams to support current and future initiatives.\n\n• Identifying new business opportunities and developing solutions that balance impact, cost, resourcing, timeline, success likelihood, and risk.\n\n• Translating business needs into well-defined technical requirements.\n\n• Diving deep into the details on analytical projects and critical metrics. Expert ability to dive deep with the team to solve complex challenges.\n\n• Developing and prioritizing analytics projects.\n\n• Managing, interpreting, and communicating business-critical metrics.\n\n• Providing day-to-day project management that includes: coordinating activities by internal & external teams, tracking progress towards milestones, continuously adapting plans to changes, and keeping teams and leadership updated on status.\n\n• Leading regular communication with teammates, partners, and leadership and conducting periodic reviews with executive sponsors.\n\n• Drives projects from inception through release and monitoring.\n\n• Works under limited supervision, uses good judgment, and knows when to seek guidance.\n\n• Continually identifies and drives opportunities for process improvement.\n
