What you will do:
- Work with business analysts, product managers to translate functional specifications into a thorough set of test cases, define integration, regression tests to align with product release cycles.
- Continue to work closely with the development teams throughout the software development life cycle to capture additional test scenarios and acceptance criteria covering both functional and non-functional requirements.
- Design, develop manual & automation tests using industry-standard automation tools and frameworks.
- Execute manual & automated tests, analyze the test results and log detailed reports for any bugs found into the defect tracking system.
- Provide subject matter expertise in quality engineering, mentor junior QA engineers, determine best practices and promote them across the team and organization.
- Provide timely and accurate reports to business stakeholders and help them ascertain the severity and priority of reported issues.
- Identify opportunities for automating test cases, workflows and implement automation solutions and analyze results.
- Analyze current test processes, perform gap analysis and drive improvements.
- Ensure test repositories are kept up to date by adding and updating tests, ensuring compliance from team members.
- Ensure test management procedures are being followed and take corrective actions where needed.
- Help in determining best practices and promote them across the team and organization.
- Participate in UAT by assisting end users in troubleshooting, replicating and facilitating resolution for issues found during testing, and validating any fixes required.
- Facilitate coaching and training for non-QA team members regarding quality processes.
- Demonstrate willingness to work on your craft and take initiative in learning new skills.

What we’re looking for:
- 7+ years of experience in hands on manual and automation testing of enterprise products.
- Scripting/programming experience (C#, Python or Java)
- Understanding of web applications, REST APIs and databases.
- Experience in developing and executing maintainable manual/automation tests for acceptance, functional, regression test cases.
- Experience in defining quality metrics to measure product quality.
- Ability to communicate and coordinate formal test plans, test scenarios, test cases and use cases across globally distributed teams.
- Experience in defining and implementing quality processes throughout the release cycle.
- Experience in troubleshooting issues, problem resolution and risk analysis for product deployment.
- Experience in training team members on quality standards and processes.
- A strong problem solver with an excellent work ethic and attitude
- An eye for detail and the capability to empathize with the product user's perspective.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Team player with a “can-do” attitude, growth mindset towards learning new skills and willingness to take ownership and accountability.
Bonus Points:
- Experience as QA lead on medium to large sized projects
- Experience with running and analyzing data from automated tests.
- Experience with tools like JMeter, Selenium, Microsoft Playwright etc. for developing stress and automated tests.
- Prior programming and scripting experience with .NET/Python/Java.
- Relevant certifications if any.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree required.
