About the role

As a Senior React Native Developer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining high-performance, cross-platform mobile applications for iOS and Android. Your work will directly impact the user experience and product quality of our mobile offerings. You will work in a collaborative environment with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to craft elegant and efficient mobile interfaces.

This is a senior-level role that requires a deep understanding of mobile development best practices, performance optimization, and API integration. You will also play a key role in shaping architecture and mentoring other mobile engineers.

What you'll do

• Develop robust and scalable mobile applications using React Native for iOS and Android platforms.
• Integrate RESTful APIs and ensure smooth communication between frontend and backend services.
• Collaborate with designers to implement intuitive and beautiful user interfaces.
• Optimize mobile applications for maximum speed and performance.
• Write clean, maintainable, well-documented code with a focus on reusability and scalability.
• Use tools like Expo, debugging tools, and CI/CD workflows to streamline mobile app development.
• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and agile sprint planning.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing features to ensure a smooth user experience.
• Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership when needed.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional experience in mobile development, with at least 2 years using React Native.
• Proven track record of shipping high-quality cross-platform mobile apps.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience with Expo, React Navigation, Redux, or similar state management tools.
• Proficient in integrating and debugging REST APIs.
• Solid understanding of mobile performance optimization techniques and device-specific best practices.
• Familiarity with mobile app deployment processes on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment and taking ownership of features end to end.

Nice to Have

• Experience with native mobile development (Swift, Kotlin) is a plus.
• Familiarity with blockchain, web3, or crypto/NFT-based applications.
• Knowledge of NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB) or relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL).
• Experience with testing frameworks and automated CI/CD pipelines.
• UI/UX design sensitivity and experience working with Figma or similar tools.

Important:

• This role requires on-site collaboration at the designated office location, five days a week, subject to project needs and deliverables.
• This role requires significant overlap with US business hours to facilitate collaboration with US teams.
• Salaries are offered in USD.
