About the job

Job description

About Scorewarrior

We're a game developer and publisher from Cyprus with one single game in the 4x strategy genre: Total Battle. We're a one-game company on purpose, because in everything we do, we focus.

We are currently concentrating on two major goals:

  • To make our game #1 in its genre.

  • To make our company the best place to work on games.

And we're far from there; we still have a lot of work to do.

That's why we need you.

If finding and hiring top talent is the main professional challenge that gets you out of bed each morning, keep on reading.

Let's Dive In

Kick-ass professionals who love working together are our company's top asset. They're the ones who strive to make our game great. They're the ones who make the company the best place to work on games.

So it's all — and only — about the people.

When it comes down to the three main recruitment qualities, we choose speed and quality over cost any day. That's because we prefer to shape our team with highly skilled people who work faster and smarter. That's how we can do more work and better work with fewer people.

Curious about what kind of top talent you'll be looking for?

You'll be focusing on marketing and working as a partner with the CMO. Your secondary priority will be other positions in the company, depending on the current needs.

Here's how you'll do it:

Key Responsibilities

Building Funnels That Convert (10%):

  • You understand that the job description, auto-emails sent to candidates, interview process, offer design, and everything in between are part of how we impress candidates and sell them on working with us.

  • You estimate and meet your deadlines for each hire.

  • You work closely with the CMO on each step of building and fine-tuning this funnel. Teamwork gets the job done.

Expert Sourcing (30%):

  • Searching for candidates who match or exceed the hiring manager's expectations. Building a network that's the envy of your peers. You forge quality relationships with potential candidates, making you their top-of-mind recruiter. Even talent who are currently in employment have you on speed dial for whenever they consider a job switch. That's how you get a 90% response rate on your warm outreach.

Stellar Interviewing and Decision Making (30%):

  • Team up with hiring managers to conduct insightful interviews, assess candidate potential, and make smart hiring decisions.

Closing the Deal (10%):

  • You close 90% of your offers. Getting a "no" from a potential candidate simply sounds like "let's negotiate" to your ears. Your determination is what gets you to the finish line.

Coaching and Mentoring (10%):

  • You are the best at what you do, and you're not afraid to show it. You share your expertise with hiring managers, elevating their recruiting game to the next level.

Level up Your Game (10%):

  • You want to be the absolute best in the art of recruiting. You stay on top of industry trends and are constantly refining your recruiting skills.

You Could Be a Great Senior Recruiter for This Position If:

  • You have 4+ years of B2C (preferably game development) marketing and technical sourcing and hiring experience.

  • You've worked for 2+ years in over 50% of the companies you've worked for.

  • You have a lot of experience of hiring in Eastern European countries as well as worldwide.

  • You can accurately meet your own deadlines for filling open positions.

  • The only possible definition of a result for you is a hired team member.

  • You can get 90% of interesting candidates to talk to you for the purposes of building your network, even if they are not currently looking for a new job.

  • The candidates you source meet or exceed the expectations set by the hiring managers.

  • You hear "let's negotiate" when a potential candidate gives you a "no."

  • You prefer quality over quantity, working with 3-5 open positions at a time.

  • You love to sell the uniqueness of the company and its open positions instead of providing reasons "why it doesn't sell."

  • You love game development and Cyprus.

Why Scorewarrior?

  • Work with a product you love: Total Battle is more than just a job; it's a passion project.

  • Join a highly skilled team: We're a nerdy group of talented individuals who love what we do.

  • Make a real impact: Your work pulls the best people together to get us to that number-one app store spot.

About The Company

Our company was founded in 2015 in Cyprus with the initial goal of publishing and operating third-party games.

In 2016 we decided that we wanted to work with our own games instead of ready-made products. We were excited by the idea of being a full-cycle game development studio: to launch a game, gain initial traction, and then scale up the game globally and become a leader in the genre.

2017 saw the arrival of our first game, Total Battle. We discovered the game in its very early stages, and we believed in its great potential, so we made it our goal to focus on this single title and become the leader in the 4X strategy genre.

In 2021, we began to transform the company into a full-cycle game development studio, adding game developers, designers, and artists to our already existing publishing team, which consisted of our finance, legal, marketing, community, and support staff. We finished this process in 2022, and we now operate from our two offices in Limassol.
