Job Description

The Senior Revenue Accountant will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing complex customer contracts to determine revenue recognition treatment, participating in monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue accounting close activities, and partnering with cross-functional teams for accurate revenue forecasting and reporting. They will also prepare revenue-related reports for financial statement disclosures, lead or support the implementation and migration of revenue accounting systems, and interface with internal and external audit on revenue-related issues. The ideal candidate should be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Must have:
  • 3-5 years of experience in revenue accounting.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and Excel skills.
Good to have:
  • Public accounting experience and CPA certification.
  • Experience with NetSuite Advanced Revenue Management module.
  • Experience in Power BI, Salesforce CRM, and RevPro.

Job Description
 

Senior Revenue Accountant

Main Responsibilities: 

  • Review and analyze complex customer contracts to determine appropriate revenue recognition treatment in accordance with ASC 606
  • Participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue accounting close activities, and commissions accounting close activities and deliverables (recons, revenue dashboards & reporting, revenue reserves, flux) 
  • Partner with cross functional teams to ensure accurate revenue forecasting and reporting
  • Prepare revenue related reports for financial statement disclosures
  • Lead or support the implementation and migration of revenue accounting systems
  • Collaborate to define systems requirements and ensure alignment with accounting policies
  • Perform systems testing, validation and user training for new implementations or enhancements
  • Interface with internal and external audit on revenue related issues, support US GAAP audit and maintain SOX control documentation

Desired Skills and Experience: 

  • 3‐5 years of experience in revenue accounting role in SAAS technology or subscription-based industry
  • Public accounting experience preferred and CPA a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field 
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel skills
  • High proficiency using the NetSuite Advanced Revenue Management module in multi-currencies and multi-Subsidiaries environment
  • Experience in Power BI, Salesforce CRM, and RevPro a plus
  • System Implementation and UAT experience (NetSuite, RevPro) preferred
  • Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment

Compensation Range

$83.000 - $110.000 - $138.000

The base salary range for this role at minimum, midpoint and maximum is shown above. It is not typical for a candidate to be hired close to or at the maximum of the salary range. At Sprinklr, base pay depends on multiple individualized factors, including experience, qualifications, job-related knowledge and skills, and geographic location. Base pay also depends on the relative experience, knowledge, skills to our internal peers in the role.  Base pay is only one part of our competitive Total Rewards package: the successful candidate may also be eligible to participate in Sprinklr’s  discretionary bonus plan, commission plan and/or equity plan, depending on role.
