THE CHALLENGE

Are you up for the challenge of becoming a Senior Roblox Developer and pushing the boundaries of game development in the Roblox universe? If you're passionate about creating immersive gameplay experiences, working collaboratively with clients and cross-functional teams, and have a strong track record in Roblox development, then this role is tailored for you.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Be a disciplined self-starter, eager to embark on a diverse range of game projects within the Roblox ecosystem.

• Work closely with Creative and Product teams to define, plan, and deliver innovative game features that captivate players.

• Assume direct responsibility for game features, from initial planning through to successful delivery, ensuring the highest quality standards.

• Design, develop, and maintain clean, efficient, and scalable code that powers immersive Roblox experiences.Developer

• Coordinate with QA leads and product managers to rigorously validate the reliability and functionality of your game features.

• 6-10 years of hands-on experience on the Roblox platform, demonstrating a deep understanding of its intricacies.

• 2-4 years of Lua programming experience on the Roblox platform, showcasing your coding prowess.

• Be a concise and articulate communicator, both in written and verbal interactions, with comfort in front of the camera.

• Proficiency in using Roblox Studio, Rojo, and GitHub within a team environment, adhering to collaborative protocols.

• Adeptness in adapting to team dynamics and established protocols, fostering a harmonious working environment.

• Familiarity with a wide range of technical concepts, including Roblox API and Services, Object-Oriented Programming, CFrame manipulation, Luau, efficient data handling, StreamingEnabled, Roblox Lua Style Guide, MemoryStoreService, and data structures.

NICE TO HAVES

• Proficiency with open-source community tools such as Nevermore, Maids, Promises, and Signals, elevating your development capabilities.

• Familiarity with advanced applied math concepts, contributing to innovative gameplay design.

• Experience in designing UX flows using Figma, enhancing the player's journey.

• Proven experience in creating Roblox Studio plugins, demonstrating your versatility.

• Proficiency in working with custom avatar rigs and character controllers, showcasing your expertise in character development.

• An interest in web development and familiarity with front-end frameworks, broadening your skillset.

SALARY RANGE

• $33/hour-$65/hour DOE

LOCATION/SCHEDULE

This role can be based in the Los Angeles office or remote. This position is generally operating during West Coast hours M-F 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM.
