About the team:

Our Security Team is at the forefront of protecting and securing our systems, ensuring compliance with industry best practices, and continuously learning and evolving to stay ahead of emerging threats. Our emphasis extends to data privacy, seamlessly integrating it into our security initiatives. 

About the role:

As a Senior Security Engineer you drive end-to-end security engineering for our cloud-native fintech platform: design and harden infrastructure, own detection & response tooling, automate controls as code, and lead cross-team initiatives that keep products compliant, resilient, and breach-free.

Minimum qualifications: 

• 7 + years hands-on security engineering in AWS (IaC, networking, IAM) and Azure (IAM).
• Strong experience with Cloud solutions e.g. Azure Sentinel, MS Defender, Wiz, Attack Surface solutions and security CI/CD pipelines.
• Proven incident response & threat-hunting expertise using SIEM/EDR stacks.
• Strong coding/scripting skills (Python or Go) to automate controls and pipelines.
• Solid grasp of MITRE ATT&CK, OWASP, and CIS benchmarks; able to translate them into enforceable technical controls.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or comparable real-world experience.

Preferred qualifications : 

• 7+ years in high-trust or regulated sectors (fintech, banking, SaaS) with PCI-DSS, MAS TRM, or SOC 2 audits.
• Direct experience in hiring and leading a deep technical security team of at least 4 members. 
• Lead architect on Zero-Trust or micro-segmented cloud networks; experience with AWS GuardDuty, Security Hub, and Network Firewall.
• Track record building detection rules in Splunk/ELK, writing YARA/Sigma, and tuning EDR to <1 % false positives.
• Certifications: CCSP, CISSP, OSCP, or GIAC (GCIA/GCIH); AWS Security Speciality or GCP Professional Cloud Security.
• Contributions to open-source security tools or research; public speaking at security conferences a plus.
