Job Summary
As a Services Lead, you will collaborate with the GTM team, value engineering, key customers, and various other teams. You will define Packaged Service Offerings for selected use-cases, aligned with Sales and GTM strategies across EMEA+AMER. Responsibilities include guiding technical teams in creating Reference Architectures, collating reusable Service components, scoping customer proposals, and leading a Global Vertical Community. The role also involves communicating the value of services, participating in briefings, and accelerating customer user adoption of the Cognite Data Fusion platform. This role requires strong communication and leadership skills, focusing on driving service offerings and optimizing processes for maximum impact.
Must Have
- 5+ years in software solutions delivery.

Job Description
Tasks & responsibilities
- Drive distribution of your Service Offerings
- Own the Service Offerings within a GTM segment, be the point of contact and participate in coordinating cross-functionally to activate
- Drive alignment across Product, Value Engineering, Marketing and Sales, ensuring feedback loops, win/loss analysis are put into place to continue optimizing all elements of the Service Offerings.
- Identify effectiveness and impact of current Service Offerings with tracking and analysis, optimizing to achieve the best results.
- Communicate the value of services/offerings to anyone who is part of the sales process, including customers or prospective customers, and support in the development of sales tools that facilitate any specific selling process.
- Participate and support in internal and external briefings at events and webinars, delivering presentations and inputting into marketing collateral to support communicating service value.
- Write industry points of view and collaborate with internal teams to draft blogs, whitepapers, community pages, solution Hypotheses, one pagers, industry points of view.
- Lead the initial services project scoping tasks for sales proposals and RFx’s.
- Work with Solution Architect and Data Science Leads to define an optimal solution architecture, and value-led delivery approach, that accelerates adoption and expansion of CDF.
- Complete estimates for the required resources, timeframe and related cost and provide initial project staff

- Education:
- Master degree or above
- Excellent listening and communication skills to interact with sales and customers
- Excellent english writing skills to write proposals and external communications
- Leadership experience is beneficial, but not a requirement
- Collaboration and team player, cross collaboration
- >5 years in building or leading the delivery of software solutions in one of the industries Cognite focuses
- Experience from Creating Service Offerings and building packaged solutions is beneficial
- Proven experience in selling or actively supporting sales of such solutions in the form of scoping proposals
- Proven experience in optimizing processes for efficiency
- Preferable Specialized knowledge:
- Cloud infrastructure based solutions, including data pipelines, CDF and cloud visualization services
- How to apply machine learning to solve business problems in asset heavy industries (coding knowledge not required)
- SW development life cycle (including tools) as a proxy to solutions building
- The number of sales adopted Service Offerings being used.
- The efficiency and impact of lead-in offerings that reduces the length of customer proof of value.
- The time it takes to accelerate user adoption and expand the number of use-cases for each service’s led project.
