Requirements and responsibilities

The Senior ServiceNow Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing ServiceNow solutions to enhance and support business processes across the organization. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of ServiceNow modules, including ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, and CMDB, and experience building customized applications within the platform. This role will involve collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, business analysts, and end-users, to optimize and automate workflows in line with organizational goals.

What you’ll do:

  • ServiceNow Development: Design, configure, and develop custom workflows, scripts, and applications using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and ServiceNow development tools.
  • Module Management: Work with key ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, and CMDB to enhance existing functionalities and support new requirements.
  • Integration: Implement and manage integrations with other enterprise systems and third-party applications through REST and SOAP APIs.
    Solution Architecture: Collaborate with architects and business analysts to ensure that ServiceNow aligns with the company’s technical architecture and meets business needs.
  • Platform Maintenance & Upgrades: Manage upgrades, patches, and releases while maintaining data integrity and system stability.
  • Performance Optimization: Identify and implement best practices to optimize performance and scalability within the ServiceNow environment.

What you’ll bring:

  • Experience: 5+ years of experience as a ServiceNow developer with hands-on experience in scripting, configuration, and customization.
  • Demonstrated experience with ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, HRSD, and ServiceNow applications.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and ServiceNow development tools.
  • Experience with REST and SOAP APIs for integration.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with other ServiceNow modules like ITBM, SecOps, and GRC.
  • Previous experience in managing ServiceNow in a cloud environment.
