What We Need:
GosuGamers is seeking a dynamic and passionate Senior/Social Media Executive to take the reins of our Honor of Kings (HoK) social media presence. We are looking for an esports and gaming enthusiast in game titles such as Honor of Kings (HoK) and other MOBA game-titles. This role is ideal for a creative and strategic individual eager to craft engaging content, grow our audience, and foster strong community engagement.
As a Senior/Social Media Executive, you will be the voice of GosuGamers for Honor of Kings, collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver high-quality, impactful content. You will oversee content strategy, execution, and performance tracking to ensure GosuGamers maintains its position as a leading brand in esports and gaming media.
About You:
- You live and breathe social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, X, YouTube, TikTok, and Reddit work, and you understand the cultures and trends that thrive on these platforms (including memes!).
- You are passionate about Honor of Kings and mobile MOBA games, keeping up with the latest updates, competitive scenes, and community buzz.
- You enjoy creating content and brainstorming ideas to entertain and engage the community.
- Bonus: You have a network or connections with players, teams, and talents in the esports ecosystem.
- You’re in tune with the latest gaming trends, breaking news, and esports updates.
- You actively follow esports content, such as watching competitive matches, pro-player streams, and community-driven content.
- You love creating visual content, from memes and GIFs to engaging videos for the community.
- You’re driven by metrics like views, followers, interactions, and shares, constantly striving to grow and improve.
- You excel at time management and can deliver high-quality work within tight deadlines.

- Strong command of written and spoken English, with additional language skills (e.g., Chinese, Tagalog, Bahasa Melayu, or Bahasa Indonesia) as a bonus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement innovative social media strategies to grow and maintain a strong presence for GosuGamers’ Honor of Kings content across platforms like Facebook, X, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
- Plan and execute pre-, during-, and post-tournament content campaigns, ensuring a seamless content flow.
- Conduct on-ground coverage of tournaments and events, delivering live updates through basic graphics and video editing.
- Conceptualize and create shareable and engaging content, including videos, images, memes, infographics, and more.
- Plan and deliver storytelling content to enhance audience engagement and community loyalty.
- Collaborate with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), talents, and pro players for content creation and promotional campaigns.
- Write engaging, on-brand copy for posts, ensuring consistency in tone and voice. Coordinate with internal teams (writing, design, and video editing) and external partners (vendors, photographers, and videographers) to produce high-quality content.
- Manage and monitor project timelines and deliverables to ensure timely completion.
- Analyze content performance using social media analytics, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
- Actively engage with the online community across all platforms, fostering positive and meaningful interactions.
- Maintain and update the Honor of Kings content calendar and annual event schedule.
- Conduct monthly competitor and market analysis to stay ahead in the industry.
- Prepare comprehensive social media performance reports, including post-campaign evaluations.
- Keep up-to-date with current esports news, social media trends, and emerging opportunities in gaming.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Who We Think Will Be A Great Fit:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in social media management or a related role.
- Based in Kuala Lumpur or Manila
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, mass communications, business, or a related field.
- Passionate about esports and gaming, with a specific focus on Honor of Kings and mobile MOBA titles.
- Strong familiarity with various social media platforms
- Proficiency in basic graphic design (Adobe Photoshop, Canva) and video editing tools (CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro) is a plus.
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills, with attention to detail.
- A metrics-driven mindset with a keen eye for creativity and audience engagement.
- Flexible and adaptable, capable of meeting tight deadlines and shifting priorities.
