Join Coupa as a Senior Software Engineer, Applied AI, and contribute to building Coupa's agentic AI platform. You will adapt core offerings for AI discovery and execution, design and build AI product features and associated data systems. Collaborate with Product and Development teams to create new features and solve complex problems. Offer advice on designs and implementations, mentor other engineers, and break down information systematically. Coupa uses community-generated AI and a total spend management platform to improve operating margins, processing trillions of dollars of spend data across a global network. The Impact of a Sr. Software Engineer, Applied AI - to Coupa:
What You'll Do:
- As a Senior Software Engineer in Applied AI, you will help design and build Coupa’s agentic AI platform, convert and adapt Coupa’s core offerings for AI discovery and execution, design and build Coupa’s AI product offerings and features, design and build the associated data systems, MCP servers, tools, and drive adoption of AI across technical teams. Y
- ou will collaborate with Product and Development teams to build new features and find creative and elegant solutions to complex problems.
- As a Sr. Software Engineer, you will offer advice and review of designs and implementations and mentor others, breaking down information systematically.

- Strong experience with Python and web technologies (Django, Flask, FastAPI)
- Strong software architecture skills
