The Opportunity: 

• The Common Infrastructure team is responsible for the platforms and infrastructure that form the bedrock of the Moloco Ads business

What you'll do

• Lead infrastructure projects, frequently overseeing the efforts of more junior engineers
• Identify and drive platform improvements and adoption
• Contribute to impactful efforts around engineering velocity, system reliability, scalability, and cost efficiency
• Extend platforms and build tooling foundational to the company
• Collaborate with other engineers at Moloco to build the best mobile advertising platform in the world

How Do I Know if the Role is Right For Me? 

• BS in Computer Science or related fields
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in software development
• Excellent software development skills and fluency in at least one programming language (preferably Java, Go, or Python)
• Experience with large scale, low latency, highly reliable systems
• Outstanding problem-solving skills
• Bias for action; ability to inspire a team
• Experience in Cloud platforms, both cloud specific and open source (e.g., Kubernetes, Airflow, Dataflow, Spark, Redis, BigTable, etc.) 
• Experience with DevOps tools (e.g. Jenkins, GitHub, AI Tools, etc.) 
• Some experience with SRE best practices
