Job Description

Lead backend development and optimization for sports analysis tools. Provide technical guidance and solve complex challenges. Architect scalable backend solutions to improve performance. Enhance operational processes and data accuracy. Solve complex technical challenges aligned with product strategy.

Must have:

7-9 years in software engineering roles
2+ years in leadership or management
Expertise in C#, .NET Core, and cloud services (AWS)
Strong understanding of full-stack web application architecture
Proven technical leadership skills
Experience in mentoring engineers
Proficiency in GraphQL, MongoDB, and MySQL

Good to have:

Experience with cross-cultural, remote teams
Knowledge of sports data and video-based applications
Adjacent languages, frameworks, and services used at scale

Requirements

7-9 years in software engineering roles, with 2+ years in leadership or management.

Expertise in C#, .NET Core, and cloud services (AWS).

Strong understanding of full-stack web application architecture.

Proven technical leadership skills, with experience in mentoring engineers.

Proficiency in GraphQL, MongoDB, and MySQL is preferred.

Located within commuting distance of Mumbai and available 5 days per week

Nice-to-haves

Experience with cross-cultural, remote teams.

Knowledge of sports data and video-based applications.

Adjacent languages, frameworks, and services used at scale are plus.

Responsibilities

Interview Process

Screening: Initial HR assessment to evaluate candidate fit.

Coding Exercise: Emphasis on problem-solving and coding capabilities.

System Design Interview: In-depth discussion on system architecture and design.

Cultural/Team Fit Interview: Interaction with the US-based team to assess cultural alignment and team dynamics.
