About the role

The Core Product team is responsible for Character’s core product experience on web and mobile. Our team charter spans the chat experience, Character Calls, the home page, search, and other features used by millions of users everyday.

Responsibilities:  

• Develop highly performant, visually appealing, and user-friendly product experiences that push the boundaries of what's possible.

• Refine and improve our user interfaces to ensure it’s highly engaging, that it delights our consumer audience and exceeds their needs, desires and expectations.

• Collaborate with others to define and implement new product features and design patterns

Job Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience as a full-stack software engineer building consumer-facing products with a strong focus on user experience and design

• At least 2 years of experience with React, alongside proficiency in other JS frameworks and libraries, is also required. React native experience is highly preferred

• Deep understanding of Typescript, Javascript  CSS, HTML, and modern front end design patterns and best practices.

Compensation Range: $150K - $350K
