Job Description

This role involves collaborating with a team to design and implement secure, compliant solutions for efficient configuration management using visualization tools and streamlined business processes. This position requires a strong understanding of DevOps principles and experience with mission-critical software and tools.
Must have:
  • Proficiency in C# with 3+ years of experience.
  • Experience with Azure (or other cloud platforms).
  • Familiarity with infrastructure as code.
  • Strong communication skills in English.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
Good to have:
  • Basic understanding of Cosmos DB.
  • Experience with logging application frameworks and function apps.
  • Experience with full-stack development.

In SimCorp, we assist some of the biggest financial institutions in the world to be efficient by simplifying their investments, accounting, and operations. We do this through IT systems, processes, financial knowledge but also through offering Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), Software as a Service (SaaS) and Business Process as a Service (BPaaS).

BPaaS is a new business unit within SimCorp, delivering Technology Enabled Business Services, leveraging SimCorp with the best of our market-proven technology platforms.  The team consists of top tier experts to create world class investment accounting services (IAS), investment operations services (IOS) and data management services (DMS). Ensuring successful adoption of our technology platforms is crucial to ensure we reach our full potential, which is why this role is essential to us.

We are looking for DevOps engineer, who will join exiting team of experts building solutions for configuration management. The team is focused on enhancing the quality and speed through automation and visualization techniques to ensure that configuration is correctly and seamlessly applied. The position requires experience with mission-critical software and tools, and you will have a chance of contributing into shaping the future of our BPaaS business line.

What you will be responsible for

In your daily work, you will collaborate with your team to:

- Design and implement secure, compliant solutions for efficient configuration management using visualization tools and streamlined business processes.

- Ensure fully automated monitoring, testing, optimal performance, and scalability of the developed solutions.

- Provide technical leadership by guiding architectural decisions, ensuring best practices, and driving continuous improvements.

- Facilitate collaboration across teams, aligning development efforts with business objectives and stakeholder expectations.

- Become a recognized expert by absorbing knowledge from team members and mentoring new colleagues.

What we value

We expect you to be good at several of the following and be able to - and interested in - learning the rest.

- Proficiency in C# with at least 3 years of experience is essential.

- Hands-on experience with Azure (or other cloud platforms) and related technologies (pipelines, YAML, JSON files).

- Familiarity with infrastructure as code (Bicep or Terraform).

- Basic understanding of Cosmos DB.

- Experience with logging application frameworks and function apps.

- Experience with full-stack development using a JavaScript-based front-end framework.

- Ability to design and build solutions that are easy to maintain, readable, and understandable.

- Strong communication skills in English.

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
