Job Description

As a Senior Software Engineer, Full Stack at Google Cloud, you'll design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance software solutions. You'll work on critical projects, utilizing your expertise in Java, Python, Go, C++, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS. Responsibilities include writing and testing code, participating in design reviews, reviewing peer code, contributing to documentation, and resolving product or system issues. You'll collaborate with stakeholders, manage project priorities, and ensure adherence to best practices. This role requires strong full-stack development skills, experience with Google Cloud technologies, and a proven ability to lead and contribute to large-scale projects. The position is based in Bengaluru or Hyderabad, India.

Must have:

5+ years software development experience
3+ years full-stack development experience
Experience with Java, Python, Go, or C++
Experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS
Experience testing, maintaining, launching software

Good to have:

Master's degree in Computer Science
Technical leadership experience
Experience developing accessible technologies

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, and with data structures/algorithms.
3 years of experience with full stack development, across back-end such as Java, Python, GO, or C++ codebases, and front-end experience including JavaScript, or TypeScript, HTML, CSS, etc.
3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.

Preferred qualifications:

Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.
1 year of experience in a technical leadership role.
Experience developing accessible technologies.

Responsibilities

Write and test product or system development code.
Participate in, or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders to decide amongst available technologies.
Review code developed by other developers and provide feedback to ensure best practices (e.g., style guidelines, checking code in, accuracy, testability, and efficiency).
Contribute to existing documentation or educational content and adapt content based on product/program updates and user feedback.
Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve by analyzing the sources of issues and the impact on hardware, network, or service operations and quality.
