About the job:
The Developer Technology team is dedicated to building the foundational technologies that enable immersive XR experiences. We are responsible for developing and optimizing XR technologies across the software stack, including runtime software, developer SDKs, and game engines. By empowering our developers, we help create the most advanced XR applications. This role involves writing asset conversion pipelines for materials, geometry, and scenes; writing Editor tools and export pipelines for Unity or Unreal Engine; helping integrate new runtime features with Unity tools and build pipelines; and supporting the Pico Unity developer SDK's and XR tool packages. The position also involves addressing developer pain points and providing support for the developer ecosystem.
Must have:
  • Proficient in Unity, C#, or C++
  • Good practical knowledge of Unity engine scripting API's
  • Custom game asset pipeline and asset exporter development for Unity or other 3D engines
  • Knowledge of materials, prefabs, animation, scriptable game objects in Unity
  • Strong knowledge of object oriented design patterns with C#/C++, 3D Vector math and data structures
Good to have:
  • Good understanding of modern graphics, shaders and pipeline
  • Experience designing immersive applications XR and web/mobile games/apps using Unity
  • Experience with Native Unity Engine Plugin development
  • Experience with 3d modeling/rendering and content creation tools like 3ds Max, Maya or similar platforms

【For Pay Transparency】Compensation Description (annually)

The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $194000 - $355000 annually.

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.

We cover 100% premium coverage for employee medical insurance, approximately 75% premium coverage for dependents and offer a Health Savings Account(HSA) with a company match.
