As a Senior Technical Specialist at Nasdaq, you will play a key role in delivering complex technical systems and discovering new technologies in FinTech. You will be responsible for driving the execution of central initiatives, crucial design activities, and building strong relationships with collaborators. You will analyze and address technical user inquiries, provide technical solutions, build and maintain integrations, build technical specification documents, and participate in software development processes. This role offers the opportunity to work in a strong expert team delivering sophisticated technology solutions worldwide.
Must have:
  • 10-13 years of software development experience.
  • Expertise in Workday Integration tools (Studio and EIB)
  • Expertise in Report Writer and Calculated Fields
  • Expertise with Web services - REST and SOAP API programming and implementation.
  • Sophisticated knowledge of the Workday Security model and configuration.
  • Bachelor/Master in computer science or other engineering fields
Good to have:
  • Knowledge of Workday’s Finance modules and Workday Extend
  • Experience working in multinational companies.
  • Experience of working with middleware systems and ETL tools.
  • Experience building and integrating with AWS (Glue, Lambda).

Nasdaq Technology is looking for a passionate Workday Technical Specialist with expertise in the Workday product suite to join the Bangalore technology center in India. If Innovation and effectiveness drive you forward this is the place for you!

As a senior technical analyst, you will play a key role in the delivery of complex technical systems of varying sizes to new and existing customers and will be part of discovering new technologies within the FinTech industry.

We are looking for a Technical Specialist to strengthen the Enterprise Solutions team in Bangalore. You will be responsible for driving the execution of central initiatives across the Nasdaq corporate technology portfolio of Software Products and Software Services.

Join the development organization for Nasdaq’s Enterprise Solutions team. The main objective for the development team in Bangalore is to build state of the art corporate software for all of Nasdaq’s employees. As our new member, you will work with a group of enthusiastic and experienced team members. Together with your team, you will be responsible for delivery of enhancements and supporting rearchitecture of our enterprise products to new software paradigms.

Your role and responsibilities:

You will be responsible for multi-functional work across the globe, delivering critical solutions and services to Nasdaq’s finance processes and operations. You will be responsible for crucial design activities and internal customer interaction, building strong relations and trust with key business and technology collaborators. 

 In this role, you will have the opportunity to work in a strong expert team delivering sophisticated technology solutions worldwide. You will work with and learn from domain experts, and have the opportunity to take tackle responsibility and progress within the Enterprise Solutions team.  Besides working closely with your colleagues in Bangalore, you will also work closely with Nasdaq teams in other countries.

  • Receive, analyze, process, handle and address technical user inquiries and requests
  • Provide technical solutions and configure the application per business requirements, such that it needs minimal deviation from delivered processes
  • Build and maintain integrations with internal systems and third-party vendors.
  • Complete recurring and ad-hoc activities/processes required to maintain and administrate Financials systems
  • Build technical specification documents for new Integrations and Reports and document solutions for future reference.
  • Provide solutions for efficiency, especially for areas that see recurring issues and incidents
  • Perform end-to-end testing and build test cases
  • Participate and carry out various phases of Software Development Process
  • Follow established processes to ensure quality of work you're completing
  • Collaborate with multiple IT and business groups.

We expect you to have

  • At least 10 to 13 years of experience in software development.
  • Expertise in using Workday Integration tools (Studio and EIB), Report Writer, and Calculated Fields
  • Expertise with Web services - REST and SOAP API programming and implementation.
  • Sophisticated knowledge of the Workday Security model and configuration
  • Education Qualification: Bachelor/Master in computer science or other engineering fields
