Job Description
As a Senior Staff Engineer at Nagarro, you will lead QA teams, focusing on testing management, risk assessment, and process improvement. Responsibilities include collaborating with product engineering teams, ensuring product features meet customer expectations, actively participating in testing and mentoring team members, tracking and enhancing QA processes and quality metrics. You'll work closely with product managers and developers to understand requirements, document test cases, execute tests, publish reports, and analyze server logs and databases. Expertise in Agile testing, automation tools (Cypress, Playwright), API testing (GraphQL), and accessibility testing is crucial. A B.Tech in Computer Science or related field and 10+ years of experience in Agile QA and Testing, including 5+ years in a leadership role, are required.

Job Description
Requirements:
- Expert with Agile testing, test planning, design, strategy, execution; automation tools (Cypress, Playwright); scripting languages (JavaScript/TypeScript); API testing (GraphQL); accessibility testing (JAWS).
- Lead QA teams, focusing on testing management, risk assessment, and process improvement.
- Collaborate with product engineering teams to align on business and technical requirements.
- Ensure product features meet customer expectations.
- Actively participate in testing and mentor team members.
- Track and enhance QA processes and quality metrics.
- B.Tech in Computer Science or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in Agile Quality Assurance and Testing.
- 5+ years in a leadership role for QA teams.
- Proficient in both automation and manual testing.
- Experience with coding and scripting.
- Leadership, cross-functional communication, analytical thinking, problem-solving, attention to detail, adaptability to new technologies.
- Expertise in Playwright, Cypress, JIRA, Confluence, Browser Developer Tools, and intermediate knowledge of JAWS.
- Work Schedule: 11:30 AM to 8:30 PM IST
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work closely with product manager and developer to understand product requirement and design.
- Document detailed functional and integration test cases. Coordinate with the developer, product manager and other business stakeholders on test case review, identify missing and complex test case scenarios.
- Test execution, Publish test report and coordinate with product & program stakeholders.
- Analyze server logs, DB and provide other relevant details with a bug.
- Track Quality metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts.
- Design and Develop test automation framework
- Develop mock/stub to test the functionality of a component in isolation.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
