As the Staff Network Administrator, you will oversee all aspects of networking, including the design, configuration, management, and maintenance of network devices such as switches, routers, and wireless access points. Responsibilities include managing telecom circuits, internet access, data centers, and co-locations globally. This role is vital in ensuring the reliability of our network infrastructure. You will also lead the design and architecture of complex network solutions, manage vendors, implement network optimization techniques, and ensure compliance with industry standards. Additional duties involve managing network infrastructure within data centers and overseeing the provisioning of telecom circuits and internet services.
Must have:
- 10+ years in network engineering and team management
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Tech savvy with experience in service apps
- Ability to handle multiple tasks with urgency
- Experience in a large-scale enterprise environment
- Ability to dig into the work of the team
- Highly motivated with a strong sense of urgency

About the Role
As the Staff Network Administrator, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of networking, including the design, configuration, management, and maintenance of switches, routers, wireless access points, SDWAN, and various network optimization and service devices. You will handle telecom circuits, internet access, data centres, distribution centres, and co-locations across all global locations. Your role is crucial in ensuring the resilience and reliability of our critical network infrastructure, which supports the success of our business teams.
Who you are and what you bring
- Minimum 10+ years combined experience in hands-on network engineering and managing highly technical teams.
- Strong Verbal and Written communication skills
- Tech savvy, proficient in using service apps, and thrives on using technology to solve problems.
- Ability to handle several simultaneous tasks while demonstrating urgency and ownership to drive tasks and issues to completion.
- Experience in a large-scale, dynamic enterprise environment with production/revenue-based networking that is critically relied upon for the success of the business.
- Capability to roll up sleeves and dig into the work of your team.
- Highly motivated, strong sense of urgency and track record of getting results.
- Experience and familiarity with various Security tools and Network tools.
What You Will Do
- Leading the design and architecture of complex network solutions, ensuring they meet the scalability, performance, and security requirements of our global operations.
- Overseeing the configuration and management of network devices, including switches, routers, firewalls, wireless access points, and SDWAN, to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Managing relationships with vendors and multiple service providers to ensure the delivery of high-quality network services and support.
- Administering Palo Alto firewalls, ensuring their optimal configuration, management, and maintenance to protect our network infrastructure.
- Implementing network optimization techniques and technologies to enhance performance, reduce latency, and improve overall network efficiency.
- Ensuring that all network infrastructure complies with industry standards and security protocols, protecting against potential threats and vulnerabilities.
- Managing the network infrastructure within data centres and colocations, ensuring high availability and disaster recovery capabilities.
- Overseeing the provisioning and management of telecom circuits and internet services to support global connectivity needs.
- Leading the implementation and migration to SDWAN, ensuring a smooth transition and integration with existing network infrastructure.
- Attracting, developing, and retaining top networking talent, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation within the team.
- Participating in strategic planning and roadmap development, contributing technical expertise to ensure the alignment of network initiatives with business goals.
- Engaging in engineering discussions and decision-making processes, leveraging your technical knowledge to influence and guide the design, build, and operation of robust, scalable, and secure network solutions.
