As a Senior Staff Product Manager at Infoblox, you'll be responsible for creating product roadmaps, conducting user research, gathering market insights, and developing KPIs. You'll work closely with various teams (Engineering, Sales, Marketing, etc.) to ensure timely product delivery. Responsibilities include defining product requirements, collaborating with design and engineering, championing releases, and driving product adoption. This role requires strong analytical, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills, along with expertise in networking and security products and SaaS/cloud technologies. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 15 years of experience as a product manager with at least 6 years in networking and security.

We are looking for a Senior Staff Product Manager to join our Products team located in Santa Clara, CA, reporting to the senior director of Platform Product Management. In this hybrid role, you will work closely with all parts of the Infoblox organization, including Customer Assurance, Customer Success, Sales, Engineering, Marketing, Finance, and IT, to ensure on-time and successful delivery of Infoblox products and solutions. This is an exceptional opportunity to join a growing, successful, and innovative organization.  What you’ll do:   
  • Create roadmaps for our product experiences and features and align with peer Product Management teams to create cohesive experiences and strategies across customer personas and business lanes
  • Drive and participate in user interviews with existing and prospective customers to learn about our customers’ needs and pain points 
  • Gather market insights and competitor analysis to develop product-market fit and target key audiences 
  • Develop KPIs for customer personas to understand engagement and retention
  • Own the product platform requirements while working closely with key stakeholders, including customers, Sales, Engineering, designers, and other Product Management leaders to ensure the delivery of an integrated experience 
  • Gather product requirements from internal and external stakeholders and create detailed epics and clear user stories with corresponding metrics and acceptance criteria 
  • Work closely with our Design and Engineering teams to drive agile and iterative product development, meet timelines, and launch window goals 
  • Define the processes and metrics by which we measure and judge successful outcomes, and work with Engineering to develop methods for creating and measuring progress toward those outcomes 
  • Engage with customer-facing teams to champion releases and guide future product direction, act as a networking and security subject matter expert, and drive teams to collaborate 
  • Increase product adoption and customer value by promoting feature value internally and externally, execute rollout plans, optimize features through customer feedback, and measure outcomes for continuous improvement             
What you’ll bring:  
  • Minimum 15 years of experience as a product manager with at least 6 years of experience in networking and security products 
  • Solid knowledge of SaaS/cloud technologies
  • Familiarity with one or more hyperscalers, including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
  • Proven ability to develop product roadmaps to deliver customer and business value across products and services 
  • Ability to craft clear, compelling recommendations supported by strong analysis and business logic, and articulate them to the organization to gain support for recommendations
  • Demonstrated success in translating business strategy into product investments 
  • Experience with prioritization frameworks, road mapping, and requirements creation leveraging agile processes and tools
  • Experience with customer-centric and data-driven insights creation, strategy definition, and experimentation as well as experience in user-centric design, user research, and usability testing 
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally in a highly collaborative and distributed environment with excellent communication skills and ability to drive alignment among multiple stakeholders
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science or engineering              
What success looks like:              
            
After six months, you will… 
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the company’s products, their features, and functionalities 
  • Deliver compelling written product specifications, user stories, and scenarios that outline customer needs and product requirements 
  • Participate in a user-centric design process 
  • Participate in the agile process driving requirements, planning, and execution
  • Be fully engaged in the Product Management, Architecture, and Engineering teams
  • Drive the backlog for at least one platform service        
After about a year, you will…        
  • Participate as a key contributor to the roadmap and strategy definition of platform services
  • Drive the creation and prioritization of product requirements across the Product team
  • Fully engage with the agile release process
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on Platform services 
  • Answer questions from Sales, Services, and customers related to the platform

Please keep in mind that the range mentioned is the base salary range for the role. The typical base salary range for this position in California is $187,700 - $286,000, plus corporate bonus potential.
