Job Description

Lexware Office is looking for a Senior Support Specialist for Banking & Automated Accounting. This role involves being the central contact for complex support inquiries, explaining complex accounting concepts, proactively supporting customers with FAQs and feedback, and contributing to product quality improvement. The position offers remote or hybrid work options in Freiburg.
Must have:
  • Be the central contact person for demanding support inquiries, especially regarding automated accounting, cash register, and account reconciliation.
  • Explain complex contexts understandably, from booking receipts to complex online shop bookings with reverse charge procedures.
  • Proactively support customers with structured FAQs, smart macros, feedback to product teams, or clever ideas for our AI setup (FIN).
  • Take responsibility for the quality and development of our support through complaint processing, knowledge transfer, and clear communication.
  • Work closely with colleagues from support, product, and development to improve our product through the eyes of our customers.
  • Actively contribute to our team culture through onboardings, hospitations, thematic focuses, or cross-functional collaboration.
  • Have commercial training, experience in accounting or a tax context, and know what input tax, debit and credit, or GoBD mean.
  • Have several years of experience in service or support, whether in finance, tax consulting, or with suitable software.
  • Think analytically, work structured, and want to understand and develop things, not just get them done.
  • Communicate clearly, reliably, and empathetically – in word, writing, and if necessary, in a video call.
  • Possess very good German language skills (at least C2).

Job Description

  • You are the central contact person for demanding support inquiries – especially on topics related to automated accounting, cash registers, and account reconciliation.
  • You explain complex contexts understandably – from booking receipts to complex bookings from online shops with reverse charge procedures.
  • You support our customers not only reactively but proactively – with structured FAQs, smart macros, feedback to the product teams, or clever ideas for our AI setup (FIN).
  • You are responsible for the quality and further development of our support – through complaint processing, knowledge transfer, and clear communication.

Qualifications

  • You have commercial training, experience in accounting or a tax context – and know what input tax, debit and credit, or GoBD mean.
  • You are experienced in dealing with customers and have several years of experience in service or support – whether in finance, tax consulting, or with suitable software.
  • You think analytically, work structured, and want to understand and develop things, not just get them done.
  • You have a good technical understanding – or are willing to familiarize yourself with tools like Intercom, Jira, or FIN.
  • You enjoy sharing knowledge, exchanging ideas with colleagues, and seeing feedback as part of your work.

  • Our team language is German, so very good German language skills (at least C2) are a must.

I find it totally exciting to work with future technologies like AI and automation and to be able to influence them. Privately, one of my many passions is baking beautiful cakes.
  • Ingrid: Due to my years of experience in technical support, my top priority is to ensure the satisfaction of our customers. That's why I work, among other things, on continuously developing our AI FIN to improve support for inquiries. In my free time, I enjoy spending time in the garden, where I can relax and recharge.
