As a Senior Tax and Statutory Analyst, you will be responsible for improving the Indonesia Tax Process. You will collaborate with external vendors, Global Tax, Finance Directors, and other business functions to increase efficiency and deliver high-quality results. Your responsibilities include advising on tax matters, managing tax risks, leading improvement projects, analyzing information, assisting in tax audit strategies, reviewing tax clauses, participating in tax planning, and ensuring timely resolution of stakeholder queries. The role also requires supporting tax strategies and reviewing monthly tax reports.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting/Tax
  • 3-5 years of experience in commercial/marketing
  • Experience in Tax accounting or Transfer Pricing
Good to have:
  • Demonstrable management skills
  • Strong knowledge of direct and indirect tax
  • Experience working with tax service providers
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to identify and resolve problems
  • Aptitude to adapt to new technologies

We are currently looking for experienced professional to join us as Senior Tax and Statutory Analyst.

In this role, you will be responsible to perform continuous improvements on Indonesia Tax Process. You will work with Compliance Partners (external vendors), Global Tax, Finance Directors and other business function to increase efficiency, drive performance and deliver with high quality.

This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include some of the following:

  • Served as tax advisor and the contact point if any tax queries.
  • Tax Risk Management - Proactively identifying any tax issues or tax risks and execute risk mitigation and implementation actions as part of continuous improvement
  • Lead on improvement project activities on Direct and Indirect Tax, from project planning, design, implementation, testing, training and success measurement.
  • Responsible for information gathering and analysis (data, SOPs, process maps)
  • Assist Global Tax and Finance Director in determining Tax audit Strategy and meeting with Tax Auditor as required
  • Working closely with Global tax and Compliance partners (external vendors) on the ID tax audit (including tax recon, etc) request
  • Review Tax Clause for local contract Involve in the planning and Analysis process for Corporate Income Tax
  • Arrange the signatory and hardcopy Tax submission/statutory arrangement
  • Ensure stakeholders queries are attended to and resolved in a timely, responsible and proactive manner
  • Support the Stats and Tax strategy as required
  • Working closely with Close and Control team to review and approve the monthly tax Perform other duties as assigned or requested

Why you?

Basic Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor Degree holder, majoring in Finance/ Accounting/ Tax with 3-5 years experiences in commercial/marketing
  • Experience of Tax accounting and/or Transfer Pricing in a manufacturing & distribution business

Preferred Qualifications:

If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:

  • Demonstrable management skills with critical thinking, decision making, continuous improvement mindset and able to share the impact if any new change in tax regulations.
  • Strong knowledge in direct and indirect tax and having experiences in working with tax service providers.
  • Strong Communication skills, with ability to communicate at all levels and manage multiple stakeholders
  • Ability to identify and resolve problems, and drive for performance solutions.
  • Ability to independently manage issues and escalations.
  • Aptitude to adapt to new technologies
