Senior Technical Designer

Type of contract: Permanent contract or Contract under Trade Certificate / Identification No.

We are looking for a Senior Technical Designer who is passionate about motivating and building immersion for players through the creation and implementation of great design ideas. We are also looking for a skill set that combines a solid technical background with decent soft skills, as there will be plenty of communication with other departments. The Senior Technical Designer will be reinforcing our Arma Reforger/Arma 4 team

Responsibilities

  • Handling features aimed at the motivation and immersion of our players like player profiles, personal statistics, and achievements
  • Collaborating with other departments (mainly programming, UX/UI) to create implementation solutions for features based on a shared vision of design
  • Participating in regular play sessions and checking the state of implemented mechanics
  • Improving, adjusting, and enhancing documentation according to the actual state of mechanics or assets 
  • Writing code in an object-oriented scripting language (Clike)

Requirements

  • 3+ years of relevant industry experience
  • Good scripting capabilities
  • Interest in developing player motivation and immersion; understanding of PC and console UX
  • Experience with developing similar features
  • Proactive approach: you are constantly seeking to improve a player’s experience
  • Good spoken and written English

Nice to have

  • Basic knowledge of game cloud systems (backend, Rest-API, databases)
  • Experience with our Enfusion engine and/or modding the Arma series is a huge plus
