As a Senior Technical Program Manager at Google, you will lead a team responsible for SOC development across the full product lifecycle, from pre-silicon to commercialization. You'll manage multiple concurrent SoC projects, coordinating deliverables across multiple geographies, and ensuring projects meet Power Performance Area (PPA) targets and quality standards. Responsibilities include negotiating with stakeholders, resolving conflicts, and communicating program status. You will work closely with engineering teams, partners, and internal stakeholders to manage schedules, dependencies, budgets, and risks. This role demands strong technical expertise in chip design and experience managing cross-functional teams in the consumer electronics industry.
Must have:

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience in a silicon organization.
  • 5 years of experience in leading teams or cross-functional projects.
  • Experience with chip design.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 10 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
  • Experience working in the Consumer Electronics industry specifically involving executing technical programs with external partnerships.
  • Experience and knowledge of chips and embedded systems used in Mobile devices.
  • Tech industry experience with a track record of product development, program management, project management, professional services, or engineering management.

In this role, you will lead a team responsible for SOC development over the full product cycle from pre-silicon to commercialization. You will lead execution of multiple concurrent SoC projects, this includes coordination of deliverables across multiple geographies, managing overall program schedules at target Power Performance Area (PPA) and quality, negotiations with stakeholders and escalation when needed to get decisions made and dissemination of program status across the team.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $214,000-$305,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Engineering teams to develop and manage custom silicon projects.
  • Help Engineering teams communicate project status to internal stakeholders across Google.
  • Work closely with partners on product development schedules, dependencies, and budgets.
  • Identify risks, develop mitigation strategies, and facilitate conflict resolution.
  • Interface between partners and Product Engineering teams, setting and managing schedules and milestones. Travel and video calls will be required to coordinate with other teams.
