Job Description:

Elsewhere Entertainment is looking for a Tools Engineer (Automation) to join the development of a new IP.

Feed your creativity while collaborating with our team of highly-skilled developers to build something innovative, exhilarating, and expansively entertaining!

You’ll help take the studio and our game from great to even better—with a focus on inclusivity, mutual respect (for ourselves and our players), thoughtfulness, empathy, professionalism, and collaboration.

You’ll help us by…

Focusing on developing, maintaining, and optimizing our automation and CI/CD systems used across multiple projects and platforms.
Develop high performance and easy to use in-engine automation tools and systems for streaming, world representation, rendering, and other subsystems.
Work with the Tools team on a wide range of automation focused tasks within an established codebase.
Collaborate with artists, designers and other coders on how to best utilize the current technology.
Perform research to acquire new knowledge necessary to perform tasks and continue the technological evolution.
Implement tasks to specification defined by the Lead Tools programmers.

You’re awesome because you have…

Computer Science/Engineering/Mathematics degree or equivalent.
Experience working with widely available CI/CD systems such as TeamCity or Jenkins.
Proficiency in C / C++ and C#
Familiarity with Python
Strong team communication skills.

Bonus points for:

Experience with IT automation (e.g. Ansible or Puppet)
Games industry experience working on AAA titles
Enjoyment of playing a variety of video game genres and titles.
