Senior UI/Visual Designer

Your mission

We are a worldwide gaming loyalty platform operator and publisher. Our purpose is to enable free-to-play mobile game players to get rewarded for their hobby. We launched JustPlay in the US in 2020, and now our product is one of the leading loyalty rewards apps in the world. Our team is based in 19+ countries and our headquarters is in Berlin, Germany.

JustPlay is looking for a highly creative Senior UI/Visual Designer to help redefine our app gaming experience. You’ll be at the heart of our exciting app redesign, bringing innovation and user delight to the forefront. If you have a background in gaming apps, gamification, or creating engaging, visually stunning interfaces - we want to hear from you!

Job responsibilities

• Design visually compelling, interactive user experiences that captivate and engage users, while incorporating gamification and dynamic UI elements to make the app more enjoyable and immersive.
• Utilize creative tools (Figma, Photoshop, After Effects) to push the boundaries of visual storytelling
• Contribute to and evolve our Design System for consistency, scalability, and visual appeal.
• Integrate imagery, illustrations, and animations into the user experience while applying color contrast, composition principles, and accessibility standards to ensure a visually engaging and inclusive design.
• Collaborate with engineers and product managers to enhance the app’s redesign and user experience and work closely with the marketing team to ensure a cohesive brand experience.

The experience we hope you bring to JustPlay

• You have 5+ years of experience in UI/visual design within the mobile industry, ideally with a focus on gaming/entertainment apps and gamification, along with a strong portfolio that showcases interactive and visually engaging designs.
• You’re highly skilled in tools like Figma, Photoshop, After Effects, or similar creative tools.
• You have a strong understanding of color theory, composition, and design systems, ensuring every detail is on point.
• You’re experienced in collaborating with cross-functional teams, working closely with engineers and product managers.
• You have strong communication skills and ability to advocate for design decisions.
