Job Description

As a Senior UX Designer at Google Ads, you'll collaborate with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to create user-centered solutions. You'll communicate design concepts through wireframes, prototypes, and other deliverables. You'll integrate user feedback and business requirements into product updates, advocating for design-centric improvements. The role involves crafting industry-leading user experiences from concept to execution, leveraging Google's design language to build innovative products. You'll work within Google Ads, contributing to advertising products including search, display, shopping, travel, and video advertising, and analytics. Responsibilities include understanding requirements, providing creative solutions, communicating UX at various stages, and integrating user feedback.

Must have:

6+ years UX/Product design experience
Collaboration with cross-functional teams
User-centered design expertise
Wireframing, prototyping skills
Excellent communication skills

Good to have:

Master's degree in related field
Experience leading design projects
Experience with executive leaders
Experience in a complex organization

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
6 years of experience in product design or UX design.

Preferred qualifications:

Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
8 years of experience in product design or UX.

1 year of experience working with executive leaders.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders to understand requirements, and provide creative, thoughtful solutions.
Communicate the user experience at various stages of the design process with wireframes, flow diagrams, storyboards, mockups, or high fidelity prototypes.
Integrate user feedback and business requirements into ongoing product experience updates.
Advocate for the prioritization of design centered changes, refinements, and improvements.
