Job Description

Senior UX Writer with 4-7 years experience in digital experiences, crafting user interface copy and collaborating with designers, strong portfolio demonstrating UX writing abilities is a must.

What You Will Do:

Collaborates closely with designers to craft seamless customer experiences
Writes clear, accurate and compelling user interface copy
Collaborates with project partners and Experience Strategy team to determine the business objectives that drive content strategy
Makes recommendations on user requirements for projects and contributes to project scoping and planning
Obtains competitive experience evaluations and customer data and establishes benchmarks for content
Develops and documents content creation governance and workflow as well as style, tone and voice guidelines, including recommendations around brand vision
Presents content concepts in collaboration with designers
Writers and designs in accordance with design system
Contributes to the development of the team’s culture and quality standards
Manage and administer design projects
Coordinate copy translation

Skills and Experience You Will Need:

Required:

4-7 years of experience, with a minimum of 2 years in product design or creating of digital experiences
Experience in a design related industry.
Expert writing, editing and proofreading skills, with experience writing for online required, kiosk, Voice and audio User Interface writing
Understanding of interactive design and usability principles and how content strategy and creation contributes to the user experience
A passion for great experience design
Proficiency in adapting processes to meet project needs
Willingness to collaborate
Self-motivated, flexible, organized, and accountable
Good understanding of user-centered design and related design disciplines (experience strategy, visual design, UX writing, design research, interaction design)
Strong portfolio demonstrating a range of UX writing abilities
Portfolio required.

Desired:

Script writing and video production
Industrial design, user-centered design, visual design, design strategy, design management, human factors, psychology, human-computer interaction, etc.
Content strategy
Knowledge of online marketing, advertising and other interactive experiences
Banking Experience is a plus
UX Experience
Seasoned writer

Education:

Degree in writing or design

Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods of remaining stationary at a desk and working on a computer
Must be able to lift to 15 lbs., as needed
Must be able to work on-site (corporate/client offices), as needed (not applicable for 100% remote roles)
Occasionally required to bend, kneel, crouch, and reach overhead.
Hand-eye coordination necessary to operate computers and various pieces of office equipment.
Specific vision abilities required include close vision, the ability to tolerate fluorescent lighting, and the ability to adjust focus.

Employees must be able to perform the physical requirements of the position satisfactorily and, if requested, reasonable accommodations will be made to enable employees requiring accommodations to perform the essential functions of their jobs, absent undue hardship.
