Senior/Lead QA Automation Engineer

Luxoft is seeking a highly skilled and independent Senior QA Engineer to join a project migrating a legacy mainframe system to a cloud-based Java environment for a major US bank. The role involves developing and implementing test strategies and executing comprehensive testing activities including Functional, Non-Functional, Integration, and Data Migration. The primary technology stack is Java, with AWS, SQL, and Python being preferred or nice-to-have skills.

Must Have

• Mandatory work from DXC office 5 days per week
• Perform and oversee testing across multiple domains: Functional, Non-Functional, Integration, Data Migration
• Drive innovation in testing processes and tools
• 8+ years as a QA Engineer with a focus on automation
• Proven track record of creating QA automation frameworks from scratch
• Advanced proficiency in Java
• Strong understanding of test approaches and methodologies
• Hands-on experience with SOAP/REST API testing
• Familiarity with both manual and automated software testing methodologies and tools
• Familiarity with batch processing
• Ability to collaborate effectively across teams
• Adaptability and eagerness to learn new technologies and tools

Good to Have

• AWS experience
• Good understanding of legacy and modern platform and approach for modernization

We have an ambitious goal to migrate a legacy system written in HLASM (High-Level Assembler) from the mainframe to a cloud-based Java environment for one of the largest banks in the USA. We are seeking a highly skilled and independent Senior QA Engineer to work closely with the QA Lead and another QA. The candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing test strategies, as well as executing a comprehensive range of testing activities (Functional, Non-Functional, Integration, Data Migration).

Primary Technology Stack:

Mandatory: Java (strong expertise)

Preferred: AWS experience

Nice to have: SQL, Python
