As an SEO/Web Strategist, you will combine your expertise in both SEO and web strategy to deliver high-performance digital marketing solutions. You will be responsible for creating and executing SEO campaigns, designing web architectures, and driving performance enhancements for our clients' websites. This role blends hands-on execution with strategic oversight, and offers the opportunity to make a lasting impact in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
SEO Strategy & Implementation:
- Develop and execute SEO campaigns designed to meet client objectives and ROI goals.
- Conduct comprehensive SEO audits using tools like Google Analytics, site performance data, and crawl logs to create actionable improvement plans.
- Analyze and optimize on-page, off-page, and technical SEO factors to enhance overall website performance.
- Perform keyword research, content audits, and competitor analysis to identify opportunities and improve organic traffic.
- Collaborate with the Director of Content Strategy to build and refine SEO strategies, focusing on content and link-building.
- Stay up to date on industry trends, search engine algorithm changes, and best practices to keep strategies current and effective.
Web Strategy & User Experience:
- Conduct research on client markets, audiences, SEO performance, and user behaviors to inform website strategy and design.
- Create customer journey maps and site architecture that align with client goals and enhance user experience.
- Design and execute user research and usability tests to identify pain points and areas for improvement.
- Work closely with design and development teams to create intuitive, performance-based websites.
Collaboration & Communication:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, developers, and project managers, to ensure cohesive and effective web experiences.
- Communicate web strategy, UX rationale, and SEO insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Lead Q&A sessions with clients to gather necessary content and feedback, ensuring alignment with business goals.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in SEO, web strategy, or digital marketing (including strategic and executional roles).
- Proficiency with SEO tools such as SEMrush, Google Analytics, and other site performance tools.
- Strong knowledge of on-page and off-page SEO, technical SEO, keyword research, and SEO audits.
- Hands-on experience working with WordPress and collaborating with development teams to implement SEO best practices.
- Expertise in UX strategy, information architecture, and usability testing to create user-centered web experiences.
- Solid understanding of performance marketing, conversion optimization, and online customer acquisition.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Strategy, or a relevant field.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a knack for presenting complex ideas clearly.
- Familiarity with tools like Figma, Adobe Suite, and Google Suite.
