Job Description

Tesla seeks a Service Advisor in Ghent, Belgium to provide exceptional customer service for Tesla vehicle owners. Responsibilities include communicating with customers regarding service appointments and updates, coordinating appointments, collaborating with internal teams, ensuring adherence to safety measures, and identifying areas for process improvement. The ideal candidate possesses strong communication skills (English and Dutch), problem-solving abilities, and a proactive approach to customer service. Experience in a customer-facing role, ideally within a technical or automotive setting, is preferred. The role demands excellent organizational skills, the ability to multitask, and a keen interest in technology and automobiles.

What You’ll Do
  • Communicatie: Support en update klanten gedurende hun gehele service-ervaring, van het begin tot aan het punt wanneer zij weer herenigd zijn met hun Tesla auto. Je leidt moeilijke gesprekken, werkt samen met de desbetreffende interne teams en lost problemen op. 

  • Coördinatie: Plan klantafspraken in, zowel digitaal and fysiek, in de service centers. Dien als coördinator tussen onze klanten en de rest van het service team om zo van elk service bezoek een succes te maken. Hiernaast zorg je dat er aan alle gezondsheids- en veiligheidsmaatregelen en procedures wordt voldaan, voor zowel werknemers als klanten. 

  • Samenwerken: Door met verschillende teams en afdeling samen te werken, zorg je voor een consistente klantervaring. Het behalen van je persoonlijke KPI’s draagt hieraan bij, net zoals het helpen van je team. 

  • Innovatie: Als team krijgen jullie het vertrouwen om continu verbeteringen te identificeren en implementeren, om zo de klantervaring nog beter te maken.

  • Klantgerichtheid: Je handelt altijd met de klant in je achterhoofd. Je hebt ervaring met klantenservice, en je kunt ervoor zorgen dat jullie als team zijnde een excellente klanten-ervaring kunnen bieden. Daarnaast ben je ook erg oplossingsgericht.  

  • Een dynamische en ervaring muli-tasker: Je prioriteert je tijd en taken effectief, en hebt je werk op tijd af. Je bent energiek, georganiseerd en proactief. Je houdt ervan om te werken in een snel-veranderende omgeving, terwijl je oog voor details houdt.  

  • Leergierig: We verwachten niet dat je een auto-expert bent, maar we verwachten wel een oprechte interesse in auto’s en technologie, en een actieve houding om je kennis over service en autosystemen continu te ontwikkelen.  

  • Communicatief vaardig: Je communiceert duidelijk en respectvol in zowel Engels als Nederlands, en je dient als Tesla ambassadeur via onze digitale kanalen, per telefoon of face-to-face.  

  • Flexibele teamspeler: Je vindt het leuk om nauw samen te werken met veel verschillende soorten mensen en kunt sterke werkrelaties opzetten en onderhouden met interne stakeholders. Je kunt in shifts werken om je team te ondersteunen. Soms betekent dit dat je in de vroege ochtend, avond of weekenden beschikbaar moet zijn.  

  • Veilig op weg: Je bent in het bezit van een Europees rijbewijs, zodat je onze voertuigen kan besturen.  

  • De juiste papieren: om te mogen werken in België.

Service Advisor

At Tesla, our Service Advisors consistently coordinate a seamless experience for customers servicing their vehicles. They constitute Tesla’s front line and are our brand ambassadors, supporting our mission to accelerate the world’s transition to sustainable energy.

As a Service Advisor, you will support customers from the moment they walk through our door or schedule a service visit to returning their vehicle, managing communication across physical and digital platforms. We’ve created one of the most innovative vehicles ever made, and you will help ensure an equally innovative service experience.

To succeed at Tesla, you must be energetic, highly organized, and smart working. You should have a passion for the brand and the ability to create exceptional customer experiences. 


Responsibilities

  • Confidently communicate with customers as a Tesla ambassador through digital channels, and face-to-face to provide: Scheduling/status updates, and payment requirements
  • Educate customers on Product, Tesla App, and answer any questions using customer friendly language
  • Maintain a tidy, representable customer facing area (customer lounge, service entrance), and organize the parking lot
  • Manage the service fleet, performing damage audits, flagging service requirements, and car cleaning
  • Develop a good understanding of Tesla’s products and service operations to perform basic, visual diagnostics and accurately record repair orders into systems
  • Partner closely with internal teams (e.g. technicians) to guarantee customers' cars are serviced efficiently and seamlessly
  • Take on minor escalations, resolve and defuse difficult conversations across all communication channels.
  • Advise and educate your customer on Tesla warranty policies


Requirements

  • Relevant experience in a customer facing role delivering excellent service, preferably from a technical or automotive environment 
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment with multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail 
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to establish and maintain strong working relationships with both internal stakeholders and customers 
  • Ability to excel in a team-based environment and achieve common goals 
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, and strong ability to take initiative and be proactive
  • Digitally savvy – ability to adopt and adapt quickly to new technology and systems
  • Able to communicate, read, and write effectively in the English language, and dutch 
  • Must have and continue to maintain a valid driving license and safe driving record
