Job Description
The Service Apprentice Program at Tesla offers hands-on experience servicing customer electric vehicles. Apprentices will perform entry-level inspections, repairs, and services, operating various tools and conducting equipment inspections. Responsibilities include pre-delivery inspections (PDI) of new cars, maintaining inventory and records, ensuring vehicle cleanliness, and supporting parts and front-of-house operations. The program is ideal for current students or recent graduates in automotive courses. The 6-month apprenticeship (March 2025 – August 2025) provides valuable training in electric vehicle technology and Tesla's innovative systems, aligning with Tesla's mission of sustainable energy.
Must Have:

In the Service Apprenticeship Program, you will be servicing customer vehicles and completing hands on tasks at the service center. In addition to being a team player, excellent oral and written communication is desired as you will be in a customer facing role. Apprenticeship period:
· March 2025 – August 2025 (6 months)
- Performs entry-level work in the inspection, repair, and service of Tesla electric vehicles
- Operate a variety of hand, power, and shop tools
- Perform equipment inspections, adjustments and certifications
- Perform Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI) of new cars
- Maintain inventory, records of time, shop supplies and parts
- Help maintain vehicle cleanliness of customer cars
- Support Parts & Front of House operations as needed or on a rotational basis
- This program is open for current students and fresh graduates undertaking automotive courses
- Knowledge of methods and techniques used in the maintenance and repair of vehicles
- Valid driver’s license required
- Be able to work in a team-based environment and have a "safety first" attitude
- Familiar understanding of the English language
- Basic computer skills, including navigating web browsers and using standard applications such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook)
