About Us The Global Payment team of Bytedance provides payment solutions - including payment acquisitions, disbursements, transaction monitoring, payment method management, foreign exchange conversion, accounting, reconciliations, and so on to ensure that our users have a smooth and secure payment experience on ByteDance platforms including TikTok. Responsibilities: - Lead our overall US service contract and protection business for consumers - Drive insurance solutioning for the insurance business and operations, and manage its corresponding project delivery / execution, and growth - Manage, resolve, and improve on ongoing insurance business operations - Drive initiatives to improve insurance adoption rate and profit / losses - Drive collaboration, marketing campaigns, and promotion features with e-commerce stakeholders around insurance products and services - Manage relevant insurance partnerships for the portfolio in US and globally, including co-creation, commercial and product negotiation and performance review with the partners
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: - Strong General Insurance domain knowledge and experience, especially in the US market - At least 5 years of proven track record and experience in digital or embedded insurance - Familiar with and good understanding of e-commerce or digital platforms business models and common key metrics - Track record in managing and negotiation in insurance partnerships, be it with insurer, broker / agency, reinsurer, or any other insurance institution - Comfortable with and proven track record in managing insurance operations, including customer education and service support, policy - Experience in consumer product creation and distribution, either Direct to Consumer or B2B2C via consumer platform is a bonus Preferred Qualifications: - Bachelor's Degree or higher in a quantitative discipline such as Business, Insurance, Finance, or a related field. 【For Pay Transparency】Compensation Description (annually)

The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $165120 - $414000 annually.

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
