Google's Devices and Services Group seeks a Service Partnerships Lead to shape the future of customer support for mobile products. This role involves driving strategic partnerships, onboarding service providers, and ensuring seamless service experiences globally. Responsibilities include building relationships with stakeholders, negotiating and onboarding partners, launching new products, collaborating across teams and borders, navigating complex projects, and mitigating risks. The ideal candidate will have strong business development, project management, and communication skills, along with experience in manufacturing, supply chain, and NPI.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years program/project management
  • 5+ years manufacturing/supply chain/fulfillment experience in NPI
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Experience managing RFPs, supplier evaluation, and onboarding
Good to have:
  • Knowledge of product lifecycle and program design
  • Ability to work independently on multiple projects

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in program or project management.
  • 5 years of experience with manufacturing, supply chain management, or fulfillment planning and execution in a new product introduction (NPI) role.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in program managing Request for Proposals (RFP), new supplier evaluation and negotiating onboarding.
  • Knowledge of the product life-cycle and designing new programs from conception to launch.
  • Ability to work independently on multiple tasks and projects with excellent communication skills and along with enhancing the processes.

Responsibilities

  • Build trusted relationships with program stakeholders, including managing expectations of senior cross-functional leads and ensuring they have the insights they need to make effective decisions.
  • Identify, negotiate, and onboard service partners who align with our direction for excellent customer support.
  • Launch new products, ensure our service network is ready to support the launch of mobile devices.
  • Collaborate across borders, partner with cross-functional teams across Google, as well as external partners, to deliver seamless service experiences worldwide.
  • Navigate complex projects, lead multi-faceted projects, from planning to execution, ensuring clear communication and risk mitigation.
