Position Overview:
The Services Solution Architect, Cloud is a pivotal presales role at Zones, focused on understanding client business goals and translating them into robust technology solutions. This role involves direct client engagement, technology solution development, and overseeing the implementation of these solutions.
What you’ll do as the Services Solution Architect, Cloud:

- Own and enhance technical relationships with major enterprise accounts.
- Educate and train the enterprise sales organization on identifying opportunities and leveraging technology solutions including Azure, GCC, AWS, Dynamics 365, Copilot for Microsoft 365, Power Apps, and Power BI.
- Utilize deep business acumen and a thorough understanding of client’s IT-related business goals to effectively translate needs into comprehensive technology solutions.
- Develop and manage relationships with key Zones partners across local and regional levels.
- Act as a trusted advisor by building value-added relationships within the client's domain.
- Prepare and refine Statements of Work (SOWs) and technology service estimates incorporating advanced technology solutions.
- Drive the coordination, delivery, and quality assurance of post-sales technology solution deliverables.
- Develop, propose, and sell solutions that span the entire technology lifecycle.
- Maintain up-to-date pipeline, forecast, time and billing, project, and activity reports.
What you will bring to the team:
- A BA/BS degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Advanced technical and sales certifications from major manufacturers.
- Extensive experience (8+ years) in a pre-sales technical role.
- Strong written, presentation, and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
- High responsiveness and credibility with customers and internal team members.
- Exceptional problem-solving, leadership, and conflict resolution skills.
- Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time.
- Technology Focus & Requirements:
- At least 10 years of hands-on experience in IT, with a strong business understanding including cost management and pricing.
- Expertise in designing, planning, and supporting deployment efforts around IT security solutions and essential technologies such as:
- Networking
- Data Center Infrastructure
- Virtualization, Automation & Orchestration
- DevOps and Data Analytics
- Edge and Core Security
- Mobility & End Point Management
- Unified Collaboration
Qualified candidates can expect a salary range of $137,000 - $165,000 + bonus.
