As a Silicon Physical Design Engineer at Google, you'll be part of a team developing custom silicon solutions for direct-to-consumer products. Responsibilities include owning the synthesis to GDS implementation of complex physical partitions/subsystems, collaborating on Power Performance Areas (PPAs) improvements, and managing block-level physical implementation and Quality of Results (QoR) on critical sensor IPs. You'll work with cross-functional teams and contribute to the innovation behind products used by millions worldwide, shaping the next generation of hardware experiences. This requires expertise in physical design methodology, floor planning, PnR tools, and scripting languages like Tcl/Perl/Shell/Python.
