The Simulation & Modeling Algorithm Engineer (iPhone) will be responsible for in-depth data analytics on large datasets from multiple iPhone generations to find opportunities for power optimization and enhance user experience. This role involves applying machine learning techniques to field data, providing recommendations to multi-functional teams, and supporting data infrastructure. The engineer will develop visualization tools, conduct power analysis of key use cases, and research/develop innovative power-saving algorithms to advance iPhone power management. The job requires expertise in data analysis, machine learning, and a proactive approach to innovation in mobile technology.

Key responsibilities at this role would include Drive Power Data Insights: Perform in-depth data analytics and analysis on vast datasets generated by multiple generations of iPhones to find opportunities for power optimization and user experience enhancements. Leverage Machine Learning for Impact: Apply your expertise in machine learning techniques to analyze field data and provide actionable recommendations to multi-functional teams, guiding design decisions and improving power efficiency. Own Data Infrastructure: Support and enhance our automated power data collection infrastructure for the latest iPhones, ensuring the integrity and availability of critical data.
