Job Description

Develop a comprehensive C++/Unity/Multiplayer/Unreal course for learners with 0-1 year of experience. This role encompasses end-to-end responsibility, from course design, code and content creation to deployment. Design high-quality learning materials, collaborate with Lead SME to structure chapters, create engaging course projects, assignments and quizzes.
Must have:
  • 2+ years Unity/Multiplayer/Unreal experience
  • Strong OOP principles & code architecture
  • Unity Engine projects (Multiplayer preferred)
  • Proficiency in Game Programming Patterns
  • Excellent English communication (written & verbal)
  • Design high-quality user-centric courses
  • Ability to explain complex technical concepts
  • Solid understanding of Unity, C#/C++, DSA, Multiplayer, Unreal
  • OOPs & Design Patterns knowledge
  • Quick learner, receptive to feedback
  • Previous video game development experience
Good to have:
  • Teaching or mentorship experience

Job Details

About the role:

  • Type of work - Full-time
  • Employment Type - Contractual - 3 months (potential to convert to a full-time position)
  • Location - Remote
  • Working days - 6 days a week

 

What You Will Do

  1. The course you will be developing will be your child, you will have to take end to end responsibility of the entire course right from course design, code and content till the time it gets deployed on the platform.
  2. Design high-quality Text-Oriented learning content, keeping in mind that the learners hold 0-1 year of experience. (Refer to our courses, visit our course pages, and have a look at the program syllabus to get an understanding before moving further with the application)
  3. Work closely with Lead SME to Design chapters for our courses in Unity/Multiplayer/Unreal for the audience.
  4. Develop Courses, Game Projects in Courses, content for upskilling, Assignment and Quiz that will be a part of the course.

Must Have:

  • Should have worked on Unity and/or Multiplayer/ or Unreal Projects for 2+ years showcasing:
    • Good Code Architecture and clean code
    • Implementation of OOP Principles
    • Projects made in Unity Engine preferably Multiplayer games or Unreal Engine
    • Proficiency in Game Programming Patterns
  • Good English communication skills both written and verbal
  • Ability to design high quality courses at all level with a User-First mindset.
  • Ability to express complex technical concepts in easy and understandable language (without using AI)
  • Good understanding of Unity and C#/ C++ and DSA/ Multiplayer/ Unreal along with OOPs and Design Patterns
  • Ability to learn things quickly, positively take feedback and apply it in their work quickly
  • Previous experience making video games.

Good to have:

  • Teaching or mentorship experience that showcases your ability to explain complex subjects.

    • 6 days a week - Each day matters when we all have limited time on this planet. So if you are mentally prepared to give your 7 days then because you love what you will be doing (even though we don’t expect team members to work on 7 days), then only apply.
    • Outcome over efforts matter - Your focus will be on doing what is right for the customer at all times irrespective of the fact that you might have to go against your manager. If maniacal customer focus is your intent, then you will never be penalized for your actions.
    • Radical transparency - If you have a problem with anyone in the team, senior or junior, or even the founder, you are encouraged to directly address the issue head-on by being open about it in a one-on-one conversation with the person and trying to resolve it asap first before looping in others like your reporting/skip-level reporting manager.
    • Work hours - 10 AM till work is done.
