Job Description

This Social Creative role involves managing social media channels for a major automotive brand. Responsibilities include crafting engaging content, maintaining brand consistency, developing content plans, collaborating with the design team, utilizing social media algorithms, understanding community needs, and staying updated on industry trends. The position requires presenting ideas to clients and teams, interpreting social analytics, and overseeing event content production (pre-production, production, post-production). The ideal candidate has at least 3 years' experience in social media, content creation, or advertising, strong written and verbal communication skills, and a passion for the automotive industry. The role offers hybrid work arrangements (2-3 days in the office).

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Are you a Social Creative with a passion for design and automotive? Want to learn in a fast-paced, friendly and proactive environment and work on one of the biggest automotive brands in the world?

We’re looking for someone who’s keen to learn, grow and support our talented team in the day-to-day management of the brand’s social channels. If you think that could be you, read on!
WHAT YOU DO
  • In this position, you will work with one of the world's largest automotive brands, developing and implementing effective social media strategies with the overall marketing goals of the brand’s global social media channels.
  • Crafting content while maintaining brand uniformity and messaging tone.
  • Working within a team, building content plans and proposals, delivering always-on content for the brand’s official global social media channels.
  • Working with the design team to create exciting visuals and videos.
  • Utilising existing content to make rewarding social posts and maximise their potential based on social algorithms.
  • Employing trends to broaden the organic reach of content.
  • Understanding the social community, their needs and how to get the most from them, and turning that into creative ideas and executions.
  • Remaining updated about emerging trends and changes in social media with an interest in the field.
  • Confidently leading the client through both your own and others ideas and knowing how to sell in great creative.
  • A good understanding of social analytics and how to interpret that data.                                                

Producer - onsite events:
  • Preproduction: organisation, concepting
  • Production: camera team briefing and oversight
  • Post production: video editor briefing and oversight - Event content deliver
                       
WHO YOU ARE
  • Demonstrated a professional background within social media, content creation or advertising, with at least 3 years experience in the field.
  • A good understanding of and keen interest in social media algorithms, trends, and best practices, for both global brands and Corporate Influencers.
  • Experience generating social ideas for brands (automotive experience is a plus).
  • Great understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and optimal approaches.
  • Excellent written, spoken, and copywriting skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment and help brief other teams on concepts.
  • Robust organisational capabilities and exceptional attention to detail of their work.
  • A generally confident demeanour in virtual and real spaces when presenting and debating in front of teams and senior management.
  • Experienced in engaging with clients in person, via email or video call.
  • Proficient at operating under pressure and achieving time-sensitive objectives in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong understanding of who your audience is and tailor messages to meet its needs.
  • Ability to confidently hold internal information and discussions in certain topic areas.
  • Have an active interest in automotive and follows the sector personally.
  • Confident in driving new cars (often required for shoots).
  • Positive, proactive team member, with a drive to deliver best-in-class social media content and channel management
